Esa es precisamente la filosof\u00eda que hay detr\u00e1s de la nueva Orca Aero, con la que la marca vasca asegura haber desarrollado un sistema bicicleta-ciclista capaz de ahorrar hasta 21 vatios respecto a la generaci\u00f3n anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-da0abe1c\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.orbea.com\/es-es\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.orbea.com\/es-es\">Orbea <\/a>define este concepto como <em>Total System Approach<\/em>, una visi\u00f3n que entiende la bicicleta y el ciclista como un \u00fanico sistema aerodin\u00e1mico. El resultado es una evoluci\u00f3n de la Orca Aero presentada en 2022, una bicicleta que ya acumulaba victorias en el WorldTour, pero cuya nueva versi\u00f3n revisa pr\u00e1cticamente cada elemento con un objetivo com\u00fan: avanzar con la menor resistencia posible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-09d25f5d\">Los cambios afectan a todo el cuadro, ya que la pipa de direcci\u00f3n reduce su superficie frontal y la horquilla se integra mejor con el tubo diagonal, Este tubo adopta un perfil m\u00e1s ancho para gestionar de forma m\u00e1s eficiente el flujo del aire, y el tubo del sill\u00edn se estrecha para disminuir la resistencia aerodin\u00e1mica. Tambi\u00e9n se redise\u00f1an los tirantes, m\u00e1s finos y con un punto de uni\u00f3n m\u00e1s bajo, y la zona del pedalier, reduciendo la resistencia en un punto de transici\u00f3n cr\u00edtico; mientras que elementos perif\u00e9ricos como los nuevos portabidones, el <em>Service Box<\/em>, el manillar integrado OC RA10 o la tija aerodin\u00e1mica OC RA11 se han tenido en cuenta de igual forma para asegurar el enfoque sist\u00e9mico. Seg\u00fan Orbea, todas estas mejoras reducen la resistencia equivalente a 5,1 vatios a 50 km\/h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-18b24c3e\">Sin embargo, la mayor parte de la ganancia llega al incorporar al ciclista dentro de la ecuaci\u00f3n. La nueva Orca Aero adopta una ca\u00edda del pedalier de 78 mm, la m\u00e1s baja del mercado, para situar al corredor en una posici\u00f3n m\u00e1s estable y compacta, reduciendo tanto el balanceo como la superficie expuesta al viento. A ello se suma un amplio rango de ajustes de cockpit y posici\u00f3n, con 13 opciones de manillar, diferentes configuraciones de tija y espaciadores que permiten adaptar con precisi\u00f3n la postura de cada usuario. El ahorro derivado de esta optimizaci\u00f3n del conjunto asciende, seg\u00fan sus c\u00e1lculos, a unos 14 vatios a 50 km\/h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-f73b4b89\">La nueva Orca Aero tambi\u00e9n se adapta a las tendencias actuales del ciclismo de competici\u00f3n. El paso de rueda admite neum\u00e1ticos de hasta 37 mm, una caracter\u00edstica que mejora la eficiencia sobre pav\u00e9 y asfaltos deteriorados sin penalizar la aerodin\u00e1mica.
