Algunas lo hacen antes. Cuando miras un mapa, cuando unes puntos, cuando intuyes que lo interesante no est\u00e1 en llegar, sino en todo lo que pasar\u00e1 en el camino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-5cec3c77\">El <a href=\"https:\/\/grandtour.catalunya.com\/es\/ride-the-grand-tour-of-catalonia\/\">Grand Tour de Catalu\u00f1a (Gravel)<\/a> trata un poco de eso. De conectar lugares, pero tambi\u00e9n formas de viajar y de construir una narrativa. M\u00e1s que una colecci\u00f3n de <em>tracks<\/em>, es una forma de leer el territorio. Un itinerario dise\u00f1ado desde el punto de vista de la experiencia del viajero, priorizando siempre la mejor opci\u00f3n en cuanto a seguridad, terreno y paisaje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-4b486a85\">La adaptaci\u00f3n de la ruta a la disciplina gravel no cambia la esencia de la idea original, solo la reescribe. El Grand Tour de Catalu\u00f1a se plantea como un trazado abierto. Un recorrido completo, pero tambi\u00e9n fragmentable. Cada ciclista decide el ritmo, la etapa, la \u00e9poca del a\u00f1o o incluso el sentido del viaje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-e0d3029e\">Es, en cierto modo, un \u201cviaje de muchos viajes\u201d. Un formato que permite tanto una traves\u00eda de varias semanas como escapadas parciales, reinterpretaciones personales o aproximaciones m\u00e1s pausadas. La ruta deja de ser una l\u00ednea fija para que cada uno construya su propio relato a partir de ella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-wd-title title wd-7ad2f7ff\">M\u00e1s all\u00e1 del recorrido<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-dc2ebc76\">Sobre el papel, los n\u00fameros impresionan: cerca de 2.500 kil\u00f3metros y m\u00e1s de 45.000 metros de desnivel positivo, organizados en cinco grandes secciones y 42 etapas. Pero reducirlo a cifras ser\u00eda quedarse en la superficie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-36f6342d\">El recorrido dibuja un trazado que atraviesa Catalu\u00f1a en todas sus direcciones. Partiendo de Barcelona hacia el sur, no sin pasar por los alrededores de la \u201cmonta\u00f1a m\u00e1gica\u201d de Montserrat, hasta llegar a Tarragona. Desde all\u00ed, la ruta nos lleva a uno de los lugares m\u00e1s \u00fanicos de la regi\u00f3n: el Parc Natural Delta de l\u2019Ebre, con sus arrozales y playas interminables; para luego encaminarnos hacia el interior, direcci\u00f3n Lleida, a trav\u00e9s de parques naturales, vi\u00f1edos y otros rincones singulares del territorio. Frondosos bosques y la alta monta\u00f1a nos acompa\u00f1ar\u00e1n hasta La Seu d\u2019Urgell. Desde all\u00ed ponemos rumbo este hacia la provincia de Girona, pero sin dejar atr\u00e1s una visita al macizo del Pedraforca y al valle de la Cerdanya. El trazado del Grand Tour tambi\u00e9n nos llevar\u00e1 a Figueres, atravesando la zona volc\u00e1nica de Olot y el famoso Estany de Banyoles. Otra joya que nos aguarda es el pintoresco pueblo de Cadaqu\u00e9s y el Parc Natural del Cap de Creus, el punto m\u00e1s oriental de la pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica y un lugar dif\u00edcil de olvidar. D\u00edas de rodar por la costa, junto a la brisa del mar; otros, de recorrer el interior de la regi\u00f3n y conocer pueblos pintorescos. No es tanto la dureza como la variaci\u00f3n del terreno y el escenario lo que acaba marcando el recorrido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-109ad94b\">El paso de lo mar\u00edtimo a lo continental, de lo agr\u00edcola a lo alpino, de lo urbano a lo remoto. Pocas rutas condensan en tan poco espacio una diversidad tan marcada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-wd-title title wd-01357dc2\">La experiencia como foco<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-25044fa4\">Si algo diferencia este proyecto de otras grandes rutas, es la intenci\u00f3n que hay detr\u00e1s de su dise\u00f1o. No es una ruta pensada para buscar el desaf\u00edo continuo ni para llevar al l\u00edmite al ciclista. En todo momento se prioriza la experiencia del viajero, el contacto con lo local y la continuidad de la ruta en favor de la \u00e9pica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-6de82344\">El objetivo principal es poner el paisaje en el centro. Los tramos no se han elegido solo por su viabilidad, sino tambi\u00e9n por su capacidad para mostrar el territorio. Es un dise\u00f1o pensado para ser vivido, no solo para ser completado. Y es que quienes ya han recorrido partes del trazado coinciden en que no es una ruta que pueda explicarse en toda su esencia desde fuera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-wd-quote wd-quote wd-118109b3\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-5f6bb504\"><em>\u201cPensaba que el peso del recorrido estar\u00eda en los kil\u00f3metros, pero lo que m\u00e1s me sorprendi\u00f3 fue la variedad constante\u201d<\/em>, comentaba <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mariasalvoo\/\">Mar\u00eda Salvo<\/a> despu\u00e9s de recorrer varios tramos. <em>\u201cCada d\u00eda cambia el paisaje, pero tambi\u00e9n la forma en que lo vives\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-ce077f49\">Otros ciclistas destacan, no obstante, la sensaci\u00f3n de continuidad. No como monoton\u00eda, sino como hilo conductor. Como si, a pesar de las diferencias de paisaje, internamente se sintiese que todo formara parte de una misma historia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-wd-paragraph wd-723f2e11\">En un contexto en el que el turismo tiende a concentrarse en puntos concretos, este tipo de iniciativas abre la posibilidad de redistribuir la experiencia. De conectar zonas, de generar tr\u00e1nsito, de invitar a mirar m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo evidente. En ese sentido, el papel de la Ag\u00e8ncia Catalana de Turisme no se limita a la promoci\u00f3n.
