Eficiente, s\u00ed, pero poco memorable. Para darle un toque diferente, <a href=\"https:\/\/pedalma.cc\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pedalma<\/a> ofrece una perspectiva radicalmente alternativa: recorrer en bicicleta el vasto y variado terreno entre las dos principales ciudades de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>El fin de semana pasado, m\u00e1s de 100 ciclistas cambiaron autopistas y terminales por sinuosas carreteras secundarias, pueblos tranquilos y la belleza natural del centro y noreste de Espa\u00f1a. La ruta, que apenas se ha modificado desde su primera edici\u00f3n hace cinco a\u00f1os, no solo desaf\u00eda la resistencia f\u00edsica, sino que invita a los participantes a conectar con paisajes y La ruta de este a\u00f1o abarc\u00f3 685 kil\u00f3metros con 7.000 metros de desnivel positivo, a cubrir en un tiempo m\u00e1ximo de 50 horas. Aunque en teor\u00eda no parezca excepcionalmente dif\u00edcil, las alt\u00edsimas temperaturas la convirtieron en todo un reto. \u00bfHacerlo de una tirada? \u00bfPara para descansar la primera noche, e incluso la segunda? Una vez fuera de la capital, comenz\u00f3 la concatenaci\u00f3n de carreteras secundarias. Los de cabeza se mantuvieron fieles a los principios de las carreras de ultradistancia y rodaron en paralelo, mientras que peque\u00f1os grupos se formaron m\u00e1s atr\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los primeros corredores que llegaron al punto de control inicial en Cifuentes, en el kil\u00f3metro 126, se encontraban los habituales como Ulrich Bartholmoes, pero tambi\u00e9n algunos inexpertos que ten\u00edan a los <em>dotwatchers<\/em> ocupados analizando su historial de carreras.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/rPEDALMA_MADtoBCN2025_DJI_0124_PhotoPauBuera.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24739\" src=\"https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/rPEDALMA_MADtoBCN2025_DJI_0124_PhotoPauBuera.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"2000\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hab\u00eda cuatro puntos de control adicionales a lo largo del recorrido, ubicados en lugares estrat\u00e9gicos para dar un incentivo moral a los participantes cuando m\u00e1s lo necesitaban. Pudieron ver pancartas que les daban la bienvenida en pueblos como Mequinenza y Belchite, y fueron animados por los organizadores mientras les sellaban la tarjeta de brevet.<\/p>\n<p>Este a\u00f1o, gracias a las lluvias tempranas de primavera en toda la pen\u00ednsula, los campos estaban m\u00e1s verdes y deleitaron a los participantes con hermosos paisajes a lo largo de todo el desaf\u00edo. Muchos mencionaron el valle del r\u00edo Mesa como el punto m\u00e1s destacado de la ruta.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/rPEDALMA_MADtoBCN2025__PBP0118_PhotoPauBuera.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24732 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/rPEDALMA_MADtoBCN2025__PBP0118_PhotoPauBuera.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1333\" height=\"2000\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tras dos tercios de la etapa, la batalla en cabeza se libraba entre Ulrich y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jesus_chiquitin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jes\u00fas Hern\u00e1ndez<\/a>, quien debutaba en una prueba de ultradistancia. Ya conoc\u00edamos su perfil y sus interesantes v\u00eddeos sobre nutrici\u00f3n ciclista, pero su actuaci\u00f3n en la ruta de Madrid a Barcelona fue, sin duda, sorprendente. Como document\u00f3 Jes\u00fas tras la carrera, el d\u00fao de cabeza rodaba en paralelo camino a la ciudad costera, pero \u00e9l realiz\u00f3 una \u00faltima aceleraci\u00f3n en un tramo sin mayor dificultad que acabar\u00eda siendo decisivo.<\/p>\n<h3>Un renovado final<\/h3>\n<p>Uno de los pocos cambios en el recorrido de este a\u00f1o, pero muy relevante, fue la incorporaci\u00f3n de una \u00faltima subida al Tibidabo, en comparaci\u00f3n con el tramo llano que conduc\u00eda a la meta de a\u00f1os anteriores. Quienes viven en Barcelona quiz\u00e1 conozcan la subida de Molins de Rei a la iglesia como la palma de su mano, pero probablemente nunca la hicieron con falta de sue\u00f1o y con 670 kil\u00f3metros en las piernas.<\/p>\n<p>El castillo que domina la ciudad desde su punto m\u00e1s alto vio a los ciclistas finalizar su esfuerzo desde las 10 de la ma\u00f1ana del s\u00e1bado, hasta la hora marcada por el l\u00edmite de tiempo y m\u00e1s all\u00e1. Jes\u00fas fue el primero, tras tan solo 23 horas y 36 minutos. Tard\u00f3 menos de un d\u00eda en recorrer la distancia de Madrid a Barcelona.
