Trabajan mano a mano con el pelot\u00f3n profesional y eso significa un grado de exigencia muy alto. Sin embargo, ese mismo factor les permite conseguir dise\u00f1ar unas bicicletas con grandes prestaciones.<\/p>\n<p>En la sede central la marca, en Lille (Francia), llevan tiempo trabajando en un proyecto realmente prometedor. \u00bfMejorar lo inmejorable? Tal vez el objetivo era ambicioso pero, como se suele decir, nada es imposible. El equipo de ingenier\u00eda de la marca francesa se fij\u00f3 la meta de conseguir la bicicleta perfecta para carreras de gran velocidad y sin grandes desniveles bas\u00e1ndose en su actual modelo RCR, y fue entonces cuando naci\u00f3 la RCR-F.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/brazodehierro_rawcyclingmagazine_van-rysel_RIDING-4713.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/brazodehierro_rawcyclingmagazine_van-rysel_RIDING-4713.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1334\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Un objetivo claro: ser la m\u00e1s veloz<\/h3>\n<p>El trabajo y las horas invertidas en el t\u00fanel de viento para el desarrollo de esta nueva bici probablemente son incontables. Pero, si tenemos en cuenta que part\u00edan de una gran bicicleta como la Van Rysel RCR para hacer otra a\u00fan mejor, supon\u00eda un reto nada f\u00e1cil de alcanzar.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style velocidad en carrera, rol del ciclista, peso y potencia. Una vez tuvieron los resultados, llegaron a la conclusi\u00f3n de que hab\u00eda margen de mejora para dise\u00f1ar una bici m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida. Los ingenieros so\u00f1aron con superar los l\u00edmites de la aerodin\u00e1mica y la rigidez para carreras de alta velocidad y poco desnivel acumulado, por lo que se pusieron a trabajar para dar forma a la bici que hoy conocemos.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/brazodehierro_rawcyclingmagazine_van-rysel_RIDING-4767.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24156\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/brazodehierro_rawcyclingmagazine_van-rysel_RIDING-4767.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1334\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan Van Rysel, han conseguido un ahorro de 13,6 vatios, en comparaci\u00f3n con la RCR, a una velocidad de 45 km\/h. Si tenemos en cuenta los n\u00fameros que se est\u00e1n obteniendo a d\u00eda de hoy en el WorldTour, estamos hablando de una mejora sustancial. Podr\u00edamos decir que es una bici ideal para cl\u00e1sicas de un d\u00eda sin grandes desniveles, etapas llanas con final al sprint o, incluso, en etapas de media monta\u00f1a sin grandes ascensos.<\/p>\n<h3>RCR-F al detalle<\/h3>\n<p>Durante todo el proceso de dise\u00f1o de la bicicleta, el equipo de trabajo ha mimado todas y cada una de las fases para obtener el mejor equilibrio posible entre aerodin\u00e1mica, rigidez, y peso. Parte de este trabajo se ha basado en estudios CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) que permiten hacer simulaciones digitales para analizar, visualizar y optimizar la fricci\u00f3n del aire contra un objeto. Al orientar estrat\u00e9gicamente las fibras, los ingenieros pueden reforzar \u00e1reas espec\u00edficas del cuadro para lograr la m\u00e1xima rigidez y resistencia. En lo que se refiere al peso y con el fin de priorizar la aerodin\u00e1mica, se han aligerado al m\u00e1ximo todos los componentes garantizando su fiabilidad y durabilidad.<\/p>\n<p>El manillar es una de las piezas clave de este rompecabezas y, es por ello, los ingenieros de Van Rysel decidieron dise\u00f1ar, en colaboraci\u00f3n con Deda, uno que cumpliera con todos los requerimientos de aerodin\u00e1mica y ergonom\u00eda. Realizaron muchas pruebas hasta dar con el modelo definitivo. Es m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido, m\u00e1s c\u00f3modo y maximiza el agarre gracias a los drops que espec\u00edficamente han ingeniado y que han bautizado como Ergodrops. Adem\u00e1s, esta mejora, ayuda a posicionar las mu\u00f1ecas para minimizar la superficie frontal del ciclista y perfeccionar su posici\u00f3n contra el viento.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style mundo del ciclismo. Junto a ellos, trabajaron para dar con la mejor y m\u00e1s \u00f3ptima opci\u00f3n para la RCR-F. Tras varios pruebas en el t\u00fanel de viento, escogieron el modelo HADRON\u00b2 625 con la posibilidad de montar neum\u00e1ticos de hasta 33 mm.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style peso total de la bicicleta. Ofrecen una primera opci\u00f3n que combina carbono visto con una parte de la bici con pintura, y la opci\u00f3n raw carbon que no usa pintura y permite ver el carbono de toda la bicicleta, adem\u00e1s de reducir su peso en unos 30-60 gramos, dependiendo de la talla.<\/p>\n<h3>Rodando con la RCR-F<\/h3>\n<p>Si no eres usuario habitual de una bicicleta con un perfil aerodin\u00e1mico, cada vez que usas una puedes notar f\u00e1cilmente esa aceleraci\u00f3n y buen rodar que les caracteriza. En el caso de la RCR-F, va m\u00e1s all\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/brazodehierro_rawcyclingmagazine_van-rysel_RIDING-4600.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24154\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/brazodehierro_rawcyclingmagazine_van-rysel_RIDING-4600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1334\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pero empecemos por el principio. La geometr\u00eda de la bicicleta y como se ha dise\u00f1ado pensando en conseguir la mejor posici\u00f3n para que el ciclista sea lo m\u00e1s aerodin\u00e1mico posible y, a la vez, lo sea sin comprometer el confort es un puro acierto. Desde el primer momento que empezamos a rodar con ella nos sentimos muy c\u00f3modos, especialmente con el manillar que han dise\u00f1ado. La forma en la que se transmite la fuerza de nuestras piernas a la bicicleta es instant\u00e1nea y en ning\u00fan caso sientes que est\u00e9s perdiendo vatios por el camino. La hemos probado tanto en zonas favorables, llanos, y peque\u00f1as subidas, y la reactividad del cuadro es tal y como nos lo cuenta el equipo de trabajo de Van Rysel. A su vez, la bicicleta bajando tiene un gran comportamiento y aporta una seguridad extra durante su conducci\u00f3n a altas velocidades.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a la aerodin\u00e1mica, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los n\u00fameros, se nota que es una bici en la que se han invertido much\u00edsimas horas para conseguir mejorar la Van Rysel RCR. Cada detalle del frameset tiene un dise\u00f1o espec\u00edfico y un prop\u00f3sito concreto para conseguir la m\u00ednima resistencia al aire, sin renunciar a la rigidez, resistencia, y ligereza.<\/p>\n<p>Para terminar, decir que la unidad de la RCR-F que pudimos probar era una talla S (midiendo 175 cm) y ven\u00eda montada con el Shimano 105 di2, adem\u00e1s del potenci\u00f3metro de la marca polaca Inpeak. En lo que se refiere al dise\u00f1o, tuvimos el placer de rodar con el modelo que tiene la parte delantera de la bici con pintura gris y el resto de la bici en carbono visto.
