Luego le lleg\u00f3 el turno a la <a href=\"https:\/\/bmc-switzerland.com\/collections\/kaius-01-gravel-bikes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kaius<\/a>, una m\u00e1quina orientada a las carreras que hered\u00f3 muchas de las caracter\u00edsticas en t\u00e9rminos de aerodin\u00e1mica y rigidez de la Roadmachine.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando lleg\u00f3 el momento de desarrollar la segunda versi\u00f3n de la URS, los ingenieros de BMC tuvieron la libertad de ser tan alocados como quisieran, con la intenci\u00f3n de diferenciar a\u00fan m\u00e1s su modelo de aventuras del modelo centrado en el rendimiento. Por un lado, sigue los est\u00e1ndares con los que asociamos cualquier bicicleta BMC: carbono premium, l\u00edneas rectas y tirantes bajos. Por otro lado, las caracter\u00edsticas de dise\u00f1o espec\u00edficas del URS son evidentes, como el abultado tubo de direcci\u00f3n y la ca\u00edda acentuada del tubo superior.<\/p>\n<p>El <em>reach<\/em> ahora es m\u00e1s largo, pero las potencias ofrecidas han disminuido en longitud, desde los 72 mm predeterminados para las tallas XS a M, y 80 mm y 90 mm para las versiones L y XL, respectivamente. Esta combinaci\u00f3n de medidas significa que el <em>trail<\/em> aumenta, para un mejor control de la bicicleta. Otros cambios centrados en una mayor maniobrabilidad y estabilidad son la ca\u00edda m\u00e1s baja del pedalier (de 69 a 76 mm), un \u00e1ngulo de direcci\u00f3n m\u00e1s relajado (69,5\u2070) y el tubo del sill\u00edn m\u00e1s pronunciado con cero retraso. Este \u00faltimo cambio permite al ciclista poner m\u00e1s peso en la parte delantera de la bicicleta. Adem\u00e1s, el pase de rueda se ha aumentado a 47 mm, en comparaci\u00f3n con el l\u00edmite de 42 mm de la primera versi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El dise\u00f1o presenta colores contrastantes y, en lugar de mostrar el nombre de la marca en el tubo diagonal, se pueden encontrar logotipos alternativos en todo el marco. Nos sorprendieron los logotipos invertidos en el lado izquierdo. Para probarlas en el entorno en el que destacan, el fabricante suizo de bicicletas plane\u00f3 una ruta de varios d\u00edas desde Olten a Neuch\u00e2tel a trav\u00e9s de un terreno cambiante, poniendo a prueba distintas bicicletas a lo largo del camino. En comparaci\u00f3n, todas las versiones de la primera URS ven\u00edan con tirantes MTT de forma predeterminada. Sin embargo, est\u00e1 equipada con todo lo que necesitas para embarcarte en una aventura ciclista todoterreno, con puntos de montaje de carga en la horquilla, el tubo superior y el tubo diagonal. Piensa en Ulrich Bartholmoes, embajador de la marca y gran usuario de la URS, y te dar\u00e1s cuenta de que esta bicicleta puede superar cualquier cosa que se le presente.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestra primera impresi\u00f3n de la URS fue muy buena, aunque nos llev\u00f3 un poco de tiempo acostumbrarnos a la geometr\u00eda progresiva. Debido al \u00e1ngulo de direcci\u00f3n, la rueda delantera estaba bastante por delante de nosotros, lo que luego demostr\u00f3 ser ideal para tener mayor estabilidad. Se trataba principalmente de familiarizarnos con la gama URS antes de probar las siguientes variantes de la familia, pero aun as\u00ed lle sacamos jugo en el par de colinas empinadas que encontramos, y la tracci\u00f3n fue \u00f3ptima.<\/p>\n<h3>URS 01<\/h3>\n<p>Mientras que para los modelos de bicicletas de carretera de BMC el sufijo \u201c01\u201d significa carbono m\u00e1s ligero y r\u00edgido, el factor premium aqu\u00ed es la MTT, que te permite afrontar terrenos m\u00e1s accidentados con total control y apenas peso a\u00f1adido. La tecnolog\u00eda patentada de BMC actualmente otorga suspensi\u00f3n a sus potencias, tirantes y horquillas. Combina la tecnolog\u00eda ShockStop de <a href=\"https:\/\/redshiftsports.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Redshift<\/a> y el conocimiento de ingenier\u00eda interno. Parec\u00eda que el manillar estaba flojo, pero era la potencia en acci\u00f3n. Esprintar con una potencia con suspensi\u00f3n es algo que no debes intentar hasta que te acostumbres a su rango de movimiento.<\/p>\n<p>El tramo del recorrido en el que probamos el BMC URS 01 presentaba superficies rocosas y fuertes pendientes tanto en subida como en bajada, con tiempo suficiente para ponerla a prueba. Las subidas todoterreno normalmente se afrontan sentado para asegurarnos de no perder tracci\u00f3n, y consideramos que ah\u00ed es donde una potencia de suspensi\u00f3n puede resultar de gran ayuda. Tienes m\u00e1s control de la trayectoria de la bicicleta porque cancela el efecto rebote despu\u00e9s de golpear una roca, y tuvimos la sensaci\u00f3n de que tambi\u00e9n minimiza la fatiga de los m\u00fasculos de la parte superior del cuerpo. Sin embargo, como era de esperar para alguien de un nivel t\u00e9cnico medio como nosotros, los 20 mm de recorrido no fueron suficientes en descensos rocosos.<\/p>\n<h3>URS AMP LT<\/h3>\n<p>BMC lanza por primera vez una bicicleta de gravel con motor. La URS AMP LT cuenta con la unidad motriz TQ-HPR50 del fabricante alem\u00e1n <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tq-ebike.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TQ<\/a> para brindar a los ciclista una sensaci\u00f3n de conducci\u00f3n natural y abrir las puertas a aventuras de todo tipo. Proporciona 300 W de potencia m\u00e1xima y un soporte m\u00e1ximo del 200%, lo que significa que para alcanzar ese valor necesitas mover 150 vatios. Est\u00e1 desarrollada espec\u00edficamente para ubicarse entre una bicicleta est\u00e1ndar y una con un gran motor de apoyo. \u201cEl mismo esfuerzo, el doble de diversi\u00f3n\u201d, como lo describe Anna Vodickova, directora de marketing de producto de TQ.<\/p>\n<p>La bater\u00eda es de tama\u00f1o peque\u00f1o y est\u00e1 perfectamente integrada en el cuadro. La geometr\u00eda del cuadro AMP es casi id\u00e9ntica a la de las opciones est\u00e1ndar, a pesar de las implicaciones de un tubo diagonal m\u00e1s ancho para almacenar la bater\u00eda. Encendimos el sistema y vimos un estado de bater\u00eda del 150%, algo que al principio no pudimos comprender. Cuando nos dijeron que era por el extensor de alcance TQ que llev\u00e1bamos en lugar de uno de los bidones, todo tuvo sentido.<\/p>\n<p>Es un sistema muy silencioso y, para cualquiera que se hubiera cruzado con nuestro grupo, habr\u00eda sido dif\u00edcil saber que \u00edbamos en bicicletas el\u00e9ctricas. Los 700 m de desnivel que tuvimos que superar en menos de 10 kil\u00f3metros fueron desafiantes pero m\u00e1s llevaderos. Dado nuestro peso, incluso sin el Range Extender habr\u00edamos podido llegar a la cima con el nivel m\u00e1ximo de soporte sin agotar la bater\u00eda, pero tambi\u00e9n quer\u00edamos probar el peso de la bicicleta.<\/p>\n<p>Decidimos apagar la asistencia pero tuvimos que mantener el sistema encendido si quer\u00edamos cambiar de pi\u00f1ones. Obviamente se notaba que arrastr\u00e1bamos m\u00e1s peso pero result\u00f3 ser lo suficientemente liviana.
