Puede que ese no sea el caso de los ciclistas de ciclocross, que apenas est\u00e1n terminando su temporada oto\u00f1o-invierno, con su punto culminante los <a href=\"https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/2024-cx-worlds-in-tabor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mundiales en T\u00e1bor<\/a> hace dos semanas. Un claro ejemplo es el sur de Espa\u00f1a, donde muchos equipos centran sus concentraciones en la regi\u00f3n de Calpe, donde los ciclistas pueden encontrar trazados variados y conductores respetuosos, y los equipos pueden alojar todo su material en alguno de los muchos hoteles que se encuentran vac\u00edos durante esta parte del a\u00f1o. Estuvimos por all\u00ed y, atra\u00eddos por la lista de salida y la contrarreloj inicial, fuimos a ver c\u00f3mo se desarrollaba todo.<\/p>\n<p>Aparte del excelente emplazamiento y recorrido, la carrera est\u00e1 bien adaptada al calendario, con carreras de un d\u00eda como el Grand Prix de La Marseillaise (28 de enero) o de varias etapas como la \u00c9toile de Bess\u00e8ges (31 de enero &#8211; 4 de febrero) que tienen lugar en la regi\u00f3n y con fechas cercanas. Con equipos UCI World Tour entre otros equipos Pro y Continentales, todas las miradas estaban puestas en el ex campe\u00f3n mundial Mads Pedersen. Acababa de ganar la \u00c9toile de Bess\u00e8ges la semana anterior lo que demostraba su gran forma. Eso lo coloca en una situaci\u00f3n extra\u00f1a como el hombre a vencer en carreras donde las tres cuartas partes de los participantes son franceses.<\/p>\n<p>La primera carrera fue r\u00e1pida, y el circuito vio los participantes correr los cinco kil\u00f3metros por la carretera de la Corniche que dar\u00edan como resultado im\u00e1genes incre\u00edbles de los corredores con el sol radiante y el mar Mediterr\u00e1neo al fondo. Sin sorpresas, el corredor dan\u00e9s del Lidl-Trek marc\u00f3 el mejor tiempo y luego se limit\u00f3 a esperar a que el resto de contendientes finalizaran su vuelta r\u00e1pida. Una etapa pr\u00f3logo pretende dar una primera clasificaci\u00f3n inicial pero nada definitivo.
