Con esto, los participantes cubrieron un total de 1.100 km y acumularon 25.000 m de ascenso positivo desde Yopal Casanare, hasta Santaf\u00e9 de Antioquia.<\/p>\n<p>Lo m\u00e1s interesante de este formato es que cada d\u00eda los participantes sal\u00edan juntos. De modo que los primeros kil\u00f3metros normalmente se recorr\u00edan en pelot\u00f3n. Sin embargo, eso no implic\u00f3 un ritmo tranquilo, ya que todo el mundo quer\u00eda estar delante y poder al menos ganar una de las etapas. Esto result\u00f3 en ataques desde el primer minuto y un ritmo duro que se hizo sentir a lo largo de los d\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p><a \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Uno de los aspectos a destacar de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/transcordilleras\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transordilleras<\/a> es el cambiar de vertiente pasando de la cordillera oriental hasta la occidental. Esto significa alcanzar muy a menudo los 3.000 m sobre el nivel del mar poniendo las capacidades f\u00edsicas al l\u00edmite, aunque con cierta ventaja para los locales. A\u00fan y batallar por la victoria, el colombiano <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ardila70\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mauricio Ardila<\/a> vencedor de la pasada edici\u00f3n no pudo llevarse el Tuc\u00e1n a casa, un t\u00f3tem de peluche que deb\u00eda llevar el l\u00edder de la carrera tal maillot amarillo. Por un lado estuvo la versi\u00f3n non-stop en autosuficiencia, en la que el colombiano <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/omar_rubiano_l\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Omar Rubiano<\/a> gan\u00f3 llegando antes que el pelot\u00f3n principal haciendo el recorrido en 6 d\u00edas y 8 horas. v\u00eddeo) se subieron a la motocicleta para seguir al grupo de corredores a lo largo de las 8 etapas de Transcordilleras. Para ellos, igual que los participantes cada d\u00eda fue una aventura. Cada d\u00eda empezaban con el pelot\u00f3n, alg\u00fan d\u00eda siguiendo a los de atr\u00e1s para luego alcanzar a los de adelante, o viceversa, con lo que pudieron ver el exigente ritmo que se impuso en cabeza, abriendo huecos de varias horas. Desde la segunda etapa la moto empez\u00f3 a tener un cortocircuito en los faros, de modo que cargaron con 20 fusibles que iban cambiando y ten\u00edan que llegar a final de etapa antes del anochecer. As\u00ed lo consiguieron en todas las etapas excepto la sexta. Ese d\u00eda, al afrontar el descenso hac\u00eda Jard\u00edn, una fuerte lluvia les alcanz\u00f3. No pod\u00edan ver nada por la tromba de agua que ca\u00eda y la falta gradual de luz de la noche (solo ten\u00edan una linterna de mano para iluminar). Entre charcos, lodo, rocas y agujeros, se pararon para encontrar una soluci\u00f3n y, de la nada, apareci\u00f3 un campesino en moto que iba en la misma direcci\u00f3n. Este les salv\u00f3, ya que les ilumin\u00f3 el camino hasta llegar al pueblo unos 40 minutos despu\u00e9s. Como nos cuentan, \u2018fue como un \u00e1ngel de la guarda para nosotros, ese d\u00eda fue de los m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles, recorrimos alrededor de 240 km y llegamos a eso de las 8 de la noche a meta\u2019.
