En esta ocasi\u00f3n queremos presentaros la \u00faltima novedad de <a href=\"https:\/\/cycling.hutchinson.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hutchinson<\/a>, el neum\u00e1tico <a href=\"https:\/\/cycling.hutchinson.com\/tires\/gravel\/tundra\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tundra<\/a>, una cubierta espec\u00edfica para gravel que seguro dar\u00e1 mucho que hablar. Aunque est\u00e1 concebido como un neum\u00e1tico de gravel, su uso no se limita a un solo tipo de situaci\u00f3n sino a todas las condiciones, desde senderos embarrados hasta descensos rocosos t\u00e9cnicos. Basado en sus renombrados neum\u00e1ticos de MTB y el Black Mamba de ciclocross, el nuevo dise\u00f1o permite abordar secciones en peralte, ra\u00edces resbaladizas y descensos con terreno suelto sin miedo.<\/p>\n<p>La l\u00ednea central de diminutos tacos se traduce en peque\u00f1a resistencia de rodadura al mismo tiempo que disminuye la rigidez del neum\u00e1tico sobre superficies rugosas. En esta misma l\u00ednea, despu\u00e9s de cada par de tacos, hay un bloque vac\u00edo, el que reduce las posibilidades de aquaplaning y mejora la eficiencia de frenado al tiempo que disminuye el peso total. A medida que nos movemos desde el centro hacia los lados, estos bloques se organizan como &#8220;alas de abeja&#8221;, dejando un espacio vac\u00edo para f\u00e1cilmente evacuar el barro, pero tambi\u00e9n proporcionando tracci\u00f3n en las curvas y el frenado. No obstante, para el m\u00e1ximo agarre en las curvas, existe la hilera exterior inspirada en sus modelos de MTB. Hay dos versiones, una con flanco en color beige y otra totalmente negra, ambas con anchos de 40 y 45 mm para ruedas de 700c y con carcasa de 127 TPI. Es interesante notar que la versi\u00f3n beige se fabrica en Francia, resultado de una estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n entre los departamentos de desarrollo y producci\u00f3n. En particular, este modelo est\u00e1 reforzado con una capa de rejilla textil Hardskin que se extiende de lado a lado para garantizar una resistencia \u00f3ptima a los pinchazos. Sentimos c\u00f3mo la bicicleta despegaba a medida que aceler\u00e1bamos sobre grava compacta y pod\u00edamos trazar f\u00e1cilmente por algunos single-tracks haciendo curvas r\u00e1pidas. Los neum\u00e1ticos se sent\u00edan suaves y, con la presi\u00f3n adecuada, el agarre era excelente. Tambi\u00e9n notamos c\u00f3mo cambiaba el ruido del neum\u00e1tico en las curvas ya que este pasaba de trabajar en la parte central a los tacos laterales a\u00f1adiendo ese extra de adherencia en tramos t\u00e9cnicos. A pesar de eso, solo pudimos probarlos en grava suelta y seca y no en senderos forestales embarrados.
