Los equipos llegaban al emplazamiento de la carrera, los corredores sal\u00edan a hacer su trabajo, y los fot\u00f3grafos pod\u00edan pasear libremente por todo el recorrido en busca del mejor \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Los ciclistas que compet\u00edan por primera vez en B\u00e9lgica acababan con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja porque, a pesar de la falta de gente animando, ya de por s\u00ed los circuitos eran espectaculares y el nivel de competici\u00f3n muy alto. \u201cVer\u00e1s cuando compitas delante de miles de aficionados\u201d, dec\u00edan algunos a los novatos. No estaba siendo una temporada representativa del verdadero ciclocross, pero estaban haciendo lo que siempre hab\u00edan deseado.<\/p>\n<p>Ya que A\u00f1o Nuevo ca\u00eda en mitad de una semana en la que se concentraban varias carreras, todos aquellos que cambiaban de proveedor de material las pasaban canutas para tenerlo todo preparado para el 1 de enero en Baal. \u201cSi en la \u00faltima carrera del a\u00f1o ves alguna <em>camper<\/em> totalmente blanca, sin rotulaci\u00f3n, es porque en ese equipo van a cambiar de patrocinador\u201d nos dijeron. Ciclistas procedentes de pa\u00edses tan lejanos como Estados Unidos apenas completaban un tercio de la carrera antes de ser cortados. Las terrazas de las viviendas que se encontraban adjuntas a los circuitos se convert\u00edan en improvisados palcos VIP. En el circuito de Heusden-Zolder hay un restaurante cuya terraza comunica directamente con el trazado de F1, as\u00ed que todos los comensales pudieron ver la carrera desde ah\u00ed tras el postre. En otros casos, hab\u00eda gente que cruzaba bosques enteros para colocarse en el \u00fanico hueco no tapado por las vallas.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-4 {\n\t\t\t\tmargin: dar cabida a los ciclistas, equipo de apoyo, bicicletas, material de repuesto, y dem\u00e1s. A\u00fan as\u00ed, su chiringuito no era nada en comparaci\u00f3n con el despliegue de poder\u00edo de Jumbo-Visma e INEOS Grenadiers, que trajeron camiones y autobuses para ofrecer el m\u00e1ximo confort a Van Aert y Pidcock, respectivamente. Comentarios como \u201cvaya diferencia con el circuito de ayer\u201d o \u201c aqu\u00ed se come mejor\u201d eran frecuentes al encontrarnos con miembros de equipos, prensa, o fot\u00f3grafos. Varios ciclistas pasaban a saludar a compa\u00f1eros de fatigas, mec\u00e1nicos de diferentes equipos compartiendo desayuno, y el sonido de los rodillos se hac\u00eda notar a\u00fan m\u00e1s ante la falta de aficionados que en otros momentos se acercaban a ver a los ciclistas calentar.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez las diferentes carreras se daban por iniciadas, la voz lejana del comentarista <em>in situ<\/em> nos guiaba para saber cu\u00e1nto faltaba para que los corredores llegaran al punto en el que nos encontr\u00e1bamos en ese momento.
