Para aquellos entonces, Mario, experto en manipular el acero, empez\u00f3 a fabricar manillares de bicicleta de carretera. Con el tiempo, la empresa fue creciendo y se convirti\u00f3 en una marca de referencia durante los 80 y 90.<\/p>\n<p>Tiempo m\u00e1s tarde, la firma italiana empez\u00f3 a quedarse en un segundo plano y se fu\u00e9 desvaneciendo poco a poco hasta que en 2007, el empresario Ren\u00e9 Wiertz, decidi\u00f3 adquirir la empresa e iniciar una nueva era en 3T. Empezaron a desarrollar nuevos productos y a trabajar con componentes de carbono para relanzar la compa\u00f1\u00eda. Con un dise\u00f1o aerodin\u00e1mico e innovador, irrump\u00eda en el mercado como la primera <em>full-aero gravel bike<\/em> y sin saberlo, meses m\u00e1s tarde, pondr\u00eda el mercado \u201cpatas arriba\u201d y se convertir\u00eda en todo un \u00e9xito de ventas. En 2020, la principal l\u00ednea de negocio de la compa\u00f1\u00eda ya eran las bicicletas de alto rendimiento, dejando as\u00ed la fabricaci\u00f3n de componentes y ruedas en un segundo plano.<\/p>\n<h3>Visitando la casa de 3T Cycling<\/h3>\n<p>Tener la posibilidad de acceder al interior de una f\u00e1brica como la de 3T es toda una suerte y no siempre se presenta una ocasi\u00f3n como esta. En nuestro caso, viajamos a B\u00e9rgamo ilusionados y con ganas de conocer m\u00e1s acerca de la marca. Nos recibi\u00f3 Enrique, uno de los ingenieros del equipo de Composite Jazz (empresa de 3T Cycling) y uno de los responsables de la recuperaci\u00f3n de la fabricaci\u00f3n de cuadros y componentes en carbono. Despu\u00e9s de muchos a\u00f1os externalizando este trabajo a pa\u00edses de Asia,como hacen la gran mayor\u00eda de marcas del mundo, ahora 3T recupera parte de la l\u00ednea de fabricaci\u00f3n y tiene la capacidad y el conocimiento de elaborar algunos de sus productos en casa.<\/p>\n<p>No ha sido un camino nada f\u00e1cil, y echando la mirada atr\u00e1s, Enrique reconoce que el proceso ha sido muy duro. Junto a \u00e9l, aprendieron todo sobre el carbono y el proceso de fabricaci\u00f3n, para m\u00e1s tarde dise\u00f1ar y empezar a fabricar en Italia sus propias bielas de carbono, las 3T Torno. En 2020, THM fue vendida por 3T a Schmolke.<\/p>\n<p>Para la fabricaci\u00f3n de cuadros decidieron apostar por la utilizaci\u00f3n de filamentos de fibra de carbono seca, sin necesidad de usar resina (al menos hasta el momento del molde cuando s\u00ed se inyecta). Esta t\u00e9cnica, conocida como \u201cfilament winding\u201d les permite crear formas con carbono sin limitaciones en cuanto a los \u00e1ngulos en los que se aplican los filamentos de fibra. El poder elegir el tipo de fibra y los grados tambi\u00e9n les facilita poder conseguir una geometr\u00eda m\u00e1s espec\u00edfica y un mayor rendimiento para sus bicicletas.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Siguiendo con la fabricaci\u00f3n, el equipo de ingenieros trabaj\u00f3 mucho para optimizar todo el proceso y ser m\u00e1s eficaces. Empezaron por dise\u00f1ar y construir sus propias m\u00e1quinas bobinadoras, y se las ingeniaron para encontrar la f\u00f3rmula de desarrollo adecuada. Tambi\u00e9n realizaron cambios y mejoras en el flujo de trabajo para reducir tiempos y aumentar la capacidad de fabricaci\u00f3n manteniendo el mismo equipo humano. Fruto de esta estrategia naci\u00f3 Strada, una bicicleta de carretera con car\u00e1cter aerodin\u00e1mico, un solo plato (ahora ya opcional con x2), mayor paso de rueda para poder utilizar cubiertas m\u00e1s anchas y una gran curvatura en el tubo vertical. En cuanto a la primera, han realizado algunos cambios a nivel de la tuber\u00eda del cuadro que lleva a un nivel superior la l\u00ednea aerodin\u00e1mica de la Exploro original. Por otro lado, han ampliado un poco m\u00e1s el paso de rueda y ahora permite hasta 54-61mm en ruedas de 650b, o 35-42mm en 700c. Una bici realmente r\u00e1pida y reactiva, dise\u00f1ada especialmente para volar sobre las pistas de gravel.<\/p>\n<h4>RaceMax edici\u00f3n limitada 60\u00ba Aniversario<\/h4>\n<p>Coincidiendo el aniversario de la firma italiana con su gran proyecto de traer la producci\u00f3n de cuadros de fibra de carbono de alta gama de vuelta a Italia, el equipo de 3T ha creado una edici\u00f3n muy especial y limitada a 60 unidades de su RaceMax totalmente made in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Una bici s\u00faper ligera, con unos acabados de gran calidad y una pintura custom para la ocasi\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s de ir vestida a juego con todo componentes procedentes de marcas italianas, destacando entre ellos el grupo Campagnolo Ekar.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"60 years of innovation | The 3T 60th Anniversary Dreambox\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8vO8s4lF2QI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Para acabar de redondear esta edici\u00f3n limitada, la bici es entregada a cada cliente en una caja bautizada como The Dreambox en la que se esconde la RaceMax, junto con ropa, zapatillas, casco y gafas a juego.
