El primero y m\u00e1s destacado, el regreso de los eventos, las competiciones, y nuevos retos. Por otro lado, nos hemos vuelto a poner un dorsal, cosa que nos encanta y nos emociona tras tantos meses de restricciones y confinamiento. Y, por \u00faltimo, la satisfacci\u00f3n de afrontar un nuevo reto en la disciplina de larga distancia y completarlo con \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n<p>Para esta ocasi\u00f3n, estuvimos presentes junto a nuestro amigo <a href=\"https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/places-to-ride-hidden-valles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ismael L\u00f3pez<\/a>, con el cual ya hemos compartido algunas aventuras antes (y las que quedan por venir). A pesar de que tiene una gran experiencia compitiendo, afrontaba su primera prueba de resistencia: The Traka 360. Un evento que transcurre en su mayor parte por pistas y que recorre algunos de los parajes m\u00e1s bonitos de la provincia de Girona gracias a sus 360 km de distancia.<\/p>\n<p>La gran organizaci\u00f3n, de manos de Klassmark y todo su equipo, ha sido clave para poder llevar a cabo satisfactoriamente un evento de esta magnitud (cuatro carreras distintas con distancias de 60, 100, 200 y 360 km, durante todo el fin de semana) en un escenario en el que, desafortunadamente, a d\u00eda de hoy, a\u00fan vivimos.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n, Isma nos relata en primera persona c\u00f3mo fue su experiencia de principio a fin, afrontando un gran reto tanto f\u00edsico como mental.<\/p>\n<h3>Mi primera experiencia en larga distancia<\/h3>\n<p>Nunca hab\u00eda pedaleado m\u00e1s de ocho horas y media. En The Traka pas\u00e9 m\u00e1s de diecis\u00e9is horas encima de la bicicleta.<\/p>\n<p>Todo fue distinto. Acostumbrado a preparar competiciones de poco m\u00e1s de cuatro horas en carretera, todo era una novedad. Y es que para recorrer los 360 km hay que tenerlo todo bajo control, minimizar los riesgos, y tener las herramientas para poder resolver cualquier averia mec\u00e1nica, o sobreponerse a una situaci\u00f3n de crisis f\u00edsica e, incluso, mental.<\/p>\n<p>Lo ten\u00eda todo listo. A las seis de la ma\u00f1ana y todav\u00eda a oscuras, daba inicio la prueba reina. Un largo d\u00eda por delante de ruta y navegaci\u00f3n, en el que acabar\u00edamos sumando casi 5.000 metros de desnivel positivo.<\/p>\n<p><a \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Durante los primeros kil\u00f3metros el grupo a\u00fan era grande y era f\u00e1cil resguardarse dentro de \u00e9l, pero decid\u00ed buscar una posici\u00f3n en la cabeza de carrera y evitar riesgos, confiando siempre en mi navegaci\u00f3n y viendo, de primera mano, el terreno. A partir de ese momento, empez\u00f3 la aventura de verdad. Nos adentramos en la <em>Serra de l\u2019Albera<\/em> en direcci\u00f3n al <em>Cap de Creus<\/em>. El terreno pas\u00f3 a ser m\u00e1s rocoso y t\u00e9cnico con lo que anduve con m\u00e1s cuidado para evitar un pinchazo o, a\u00fan peor, rajar el neum\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cMientras escribo este relato y reviso el mapa, me doy cuenta de que la subida donde tuve el primer baj\u00f3n f\u00edsico acababa en una finca llamada \u201cMas Patir\u00e0s\u201d. Tuve que bajar el ritmo e incluso poner pie a tierra para rellenar un bid\u00f3n con sales minerales que me beb\u00ed en dos tragos por tal de evitar una inminente y temida \u2018p\u00e1jara\u2019. Por suerte, consegu\u00ed rehacerme y puse direcci\u00f3n al <em>Cap de Creus<\/em>, llegando al mar por <em>Llan\u00e7\u00e0<\/em>, siguiendo la costa hasta el <em>Port de la Selva<\/em> y adentr\u00e1ndonos al parque natural por sus pistas para llegar hasta el emblem\u00e1tico pueblo de <em>Cadaqu\u00e9s<\/em>. Una vez all\u00ed, la ruta continuaba hasta <em>Roses<\/em> a trav\u00e9s de la costa y acompa\u00f1ados siempre por el mar mediterraneo. Sin lugar a dudas, esos 40 kms de pistas y caminos fueron espectaculares, con unas vistas \u00fanicas y que recomendar\u00eda a cualquier persona.<\/p>\n<p>Dej\u00e1bamos la zona monta\u00f1osa atr\u00e1s y pas\u00e1bamos a un terreno llano repleto de pistas r\u00e1pidas que, con un punto de viento, no se hicieron del todo c\u00f3modas. Cada rampa que me encontraba me supon\u00eda un esfuerzo fuera de lo habitual. Me empezaba a faltar desarrollo, mont\u00e9 un plato de cuarenta y cuatro dientes y mi pi\u00f1\u00f3n grande era de cuarenta y dos. Dos vasos de Coca-cola y revis\u00e9 el perfil del \u00faltimo sector. Al ver que quedaba un tramo relativamente c\u00f3modo, me vine arriba, fue como volver a empezar el d\u00eda. El cuerpo se rehizo y las piernas volvieron a tener fuerza. Lo complicado estaba hecho y tocaba rematar el d\u00eda de la mejor manera.<\/p>\n<p>Tocaba encender luces y tratar de estar m\u00e1s atento al terreno. Los reflejos eran los justos y cualquier despiste se pod\u00eda pagar caro. Ellos tambi\u00e9n son h\u00e9roes.<\/p>\n<p>Me gustar\u00eda agradecer a todos aquellos que me han ayudado en esta aventura, en especial, a J\u00falia, mi pareja, que me ha apoyado en todo momento.
