Ya asentado en EEUU y gran parte de Europa, este est\u00e1 encontrando nuevos adeptos en pa\u00edses como Colombia. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/cheset\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mauricio Ordonez<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/rimunozg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ricardo Mu\u00f1oz<\/a>, dos amigos apasionados del ciclismo, nos cuentan c\u00f3mo han visto una oportunidad inigualable con posibilidades infinitas para introducir esta modalidad de ciclismo en Colombia. Con este prop\u00f3sito, entre el 21 y 28 de marzo han organizado la carrera de bikepacking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/transcordilleras\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transcordilleras<\/a>. Colombia es un pa\u00eds con mucha cultura ciclista, siendo la carretera la disciplina m\u00e1s practicada. Adem\u00e1s de una geograf\u00eda de lo m\u00e1s diversa, el pa\u00eds cuenta con un clima bastante constante a lo largo del a\u00f1o, con lo que no hay necesidad de tener una bicicleta para cada estaci\u00f3n del a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, es un pa\u00eds donde un neum\u00e1tico m\u00e1s ancho te ofrece la posibilidad de incrementar exponencialmente el n\u00famero de rutas accesibles. Muchas de las carreteras no est\u00e1n pavimentadas, de modo que la falta de infraestructura se traduce en un lugar ideal para explorar con una gravel. Mauricio y Ricardo se dieron cuenta de este hecho y, en 2016, se adentraron en la disciplina. Para esos entonces nadie ten\u00eda a\u00fan una bicicleta gravel y poco a poco m\u00e1s amigos se fueron uniendo. La regi\u00f3n central de Colombia est\u00e1 definida por los Andes y dividida en tres cordilleras: oriental, central y occidental. Con la intenci\u00f3n de adentrarse y conocer el pa\u00eds, se propusieron el reto de unir las tres en bicicleta en lo que ser\u00eda una ruta de bikepacking gravel.<\/p>\n<p>El gravel te permite alcanzar lugares y aldeas a los que no llegar\u00edas de otro modo, pasando por sendas restringidas para otro tipo de bicicleta. Adem\u00e1s, ir a cuestas con todo el material necesario te permite disfrutar del momento sin presi\u00f3n, par\u00e1ndote a disfrutar de la comida local, haciendo ligeras modificaciones de la ruta e improvisando en funci\u00f3n de las sensaciones.<\/p>\n<p>La idea principal tras el evento es crear una comunidad m\u00e1s extensa y poder disfrutar del entorno de una manera m\u00e1s cercana despu\u00e9s del confinamiento vivido. As\u00ed pues, el evento se ha abierto a todo el mundo, eso s\u00ed, con plazas limitadas, y lo que ser\u00eda una ruta entre amigos se ha transformado en una carrera por etapas. Al ser el primer evento y contar con participantes de distintos niveles, desde el experto en ultraciclismo al ciclista aficionado, se ha planteado la carrera como una posibilidad para introducirse al \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<h3>Log\u00edstica de la carrera<\/h3>\n<p>Partiendo de Yopal (cordillera oriental) y llegando a Tad\u00f3 (cordillera occidental), la ruta consta de 1.150 km con un desnivel acumulado de 25.000 m dividido en 8 etapas (una media de 140 km y +3.000 m al dia). De modo que, aunque se plantee como un reto amistoso, este no ser\u00e1 f\u00e1cil de superar.<\/p>\n<p>Los participantes deber\u00e1n llevar todo el material en sus bolsas, como comida, ropa o herramientas, excepto material de acampada, ya que se prioriza el dormir en hostales y hoteles en cada poblaci\u00f3n al finalizar la etapa. De este modo, los organizadores pretenden crear m\u00e1s comunidad y hacer la experiencia m\u00e1s segura. Con esta misma intenci\u00f3n, y por la falta de infraestructura en algunas partes del trazado, habr\u00e1 un coche escoba que recoger\u00e1 a los participantes en caso de infortunios o situaciones peligrosas al caer la noche.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, el evento no deja de ser una carrera. A\u00fan no han unido todas las etapas entre s\u00ed en un solo viaje, pero s\u00ed que han hecho peque\u00f1as expediciones de varios d\u00edas cubriendo cada uno de los tramos. Esta vez tocar\u00e1 unirlos todos.<\/p>\n<p>La primera etapa empezar\u00e1 subiendo a la cordillera oriental, alcanzando ya los 3.500 m sobre el nivel del mar en el P\u00e1ramo. Luego, atravesar\u00e1 el altiplano Cundiboyacense y pueblos fantasma como San Cayetano antes de empezar el descenso hac\u00eda el valle del r\u00edo Magdalena. Despu\u00e9s de descender hasta casi 200 m tocar\u00e1 de nuevo subir hasta el punto m\u00e1s alto, el p\u00e1ramo del Chil\u00ed a 3.800 m, un verdadero reto que ser\u00e1 la etapa reina de la ruta. Finalmente, la ruta transcurrir\u00e1 por el paisaje cafetero, llegando a la cordillera occidental y as\u00ed uniendo las tres.
