En nuestro caso, sin duda alguna, el proyecto que mejor representa este <em>feeling<\/em> es <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amongthegiants.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Among the Giants<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Algo que inicialmente naci\u00f3 como un simple viaje de amigos, fue tomando forma y haci\u00e9ndose grande como si de una bola de nieve se tratase. Le dimos muchas vueltas y pensamos mucho en el formato pero, finalmente, tras varias semanas de trabajo, conseguimos tener una idea clara de lo que quer\u00edamos construir con ATG.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9443\" src=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A7648.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A7648.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A7648-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A7648-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A7648-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A7648-600x400.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ahora, tras cuatro a\u00f1os desde ese primer viaje a los Dolomitas, nos encontramos en un punto en el que, a pesar de que seguimos sufriendo cada vez que organizamos una nueva edici\u00f3n, tenemos una organizaci\u00f3n estable y una experiencia que nos permite disfrutar y vivir una experiencia cada vez m\u00e1s gratificante para todos.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>ATG 3 &#8211; Helvetic Lands<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El viaje al coraz\u00f3n de los Alpes Suizos presentaba ciertos retos desde el primer momento que nos decantamos por Suiza como destino para la tercera edici\u00f3n de ATG.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El primer h\u00e1ndicap al que nos enfrent\u00e1bamos era encontrar una estancia que nos permitiera establecer un campo base desde el que partir cada d\u00eda de ruta y evitar desplazamientos. Tras barajar varias localizaciones, escogimos el pintoresco pueblo de Andermatt, rodeado de altas monta\u00f1as y con una ubicaci\u00f3n perfecta para instalarnos. Alquilamos un gran casa que ser\u00eda durante tres d\u00edas el hogar para todos los integrantes de ATG 3 y todo el staff de la organizaci\u00f3n. A pesar de que las temperaturas empiezan a moderarse, las rutas abarcaban altitudes variables, con gran amplitud t\u00e9rmica y, como suele ocurrir en la alta monta\u00f1a, tiempo imprevisible. La misma oficina de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myswitzerland.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Suiza Turismo<\/a>\u00a0nos advirti\u00f3 de la posibilidad de encontrar restricciones de tr\u00e1fico y algunos puertos cerrados por riesgo de avalanchas. Nos volvimos expertos en webs de climatolog\u00eda Suiza, as\u00ed como del planificador de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.komoot.com\/user\/rawcyclingmagazine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Komoot<\/a>, intentando trazar alternativas ante los m\u00e1s que posibles cerrados pasos de monta\u00f1a.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pese a los obst\u00e1culos nos lo jugar\u00edamos a una carta y seguir\u00edamos adelante con el plan trazado.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Los elegidos<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cada a\u00f1o recibimos muchas peticiones para poder asistir a una nueva edici\u00f3n de ATG y lamentamos tener que rechazar muchas de ellas. Una de las particularidades del proyecto es que trata de un viaje invitacional y solo puede asistir todo aquel que recibe una de las invitaci\u00f3n. En esta ocasi\u00f3n contamos con <em>riders<\/em> de Holanda, Suiza, Inglaterra, Espa\u00f1a&#8230; una mezcla heterog\u00e9nea pero que encajaba a la perfecci\u00f3n. Aventureros, dise\u00f1adores, propietarios de marcas, <em>youtubers<\/em>, embajadores, \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gente que suma, que transmite ilusi\u00f3n y ganas. No nos cansamos de decir que es claramente lo que mejor se nos da en este proyecto, unir desconocidos que r\u00e1pidamente se sienten entre amigos desde el primer momento.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9448\" src=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A0838.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A0838.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A0838-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A0838-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A0838-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/U5A0838-600x400.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4><b>Suiza<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El pa\u00eds helv\u00e9tico es, sin duda, uno de los destinos de Europa preferidos por sus monta\u00f1as, naturaleza y hospitalidad&#8230;y nosotros lo hemos podido comprobar en primera persona.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desde el primer d\u00eda hemos podido ponernos a prueba con su climatolog\u00eda y sus grandes puertos. Hemos recorrido kms y kms de carreteras por incre\u00edbles valles. Dejadnos que os contemos con algo m\u00e1s de detalle como fue nuestro d\u00eda a d\u00eda entre prados y bloques de nieve, fr\u00edo, calor y lluvia. ATG en estado puro.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Dia D<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El punto de encuentro para la mayor\u00eda de invitados era el Aeropuerto de Zurich, desde donde partir\u00edan las lanzaderas hacia Andermatt. Aprovechamos para agradecer enormemente la ayuda que recibimos con la log\u00edstica para los traslados desde <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myswitzerland.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Suiza Turismo<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuando llegamos al campamento base nos sorprendi\u00f3 lo tranquilo y bonito que era el pueblo, \u00a1qu\u00e9 gran elecci\u00f3n!, y qu\u00e9 decir de la casa, la realidad super\u00f3 con creces las expectativas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">R\u00e1pidamente nos pusimos a desempaquetar y ensamblar todas las bicicletas, primeras risas, ayudas mec\u00e1nicas y conversaciones f\u00e1ciles, todos tenemos cosas en com\u00fan y se nota. Aprovechamos este momento para entregar unas <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">welcome bags<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> con algunos obsequios de las marcas implicadas en esta edici\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Antes de acostarnos, hac\u00edamos un sync diario con Adriano de <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/cyclingswitzerland\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@CyclingSwitzerland<\/a> (ciclista apasionado y un gran conocedor de los puertos Suizos) para repasar la ruta del d\u00eda siguiente, la previsi\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica y las restricciones de tr\u00e1fico. Sin duda, una gran ayuda.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Dia 1 <\/b>(<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.komoot.com\/tour\/71102516\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ver detalles ruta<\/a>)<\/em><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con los ojos a\u00fan entreabiertos, nos reunimos para desayunar todos juntos. Miramos por la ventana y no nos gusta lo que vemos, d\u00eda lluvioso y gris, t\u00edpico verano alpino.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mario prepar\u00f3 barritas de arroz con mango picante (espectaculares) a modo de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">energy-bar<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, eso nos ayudar\u00eda a pedalear durante los 150 km planeados, llueva o no.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Primer puerto del d\u00eda y de esta edici\u00f3n: Oberalp Pass, 20.4 km al 4.4%, cota 2.044 m, para abrir boca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tras descender con cuidado nos acercamos a Lukmanier Pass\/Lucomagno, otros 20 km al 5,2% con su punto de m\u00e1xima altura a 1.950m. Otro descenso, esta vez de 40 km, los casi 0\u00ba y la lluvia nos tuercen las caras, pero las vistas nos la alegran\u2026tras una parada para comer algo y rellenar bidones comprobamos que San Gottardo est\u00e1 cerrado al tr\u00e1fico rodado, un desprendimiento de nieve nos deja sin el plato fuerte del d\u00eda, en retrospectiva, con lo empapados que est\u00e1bamos y con el fr\u00edo que hac\u00eda\u2026. cambiar la m\u00edtica ascensi\u00f3n por el tren desde Airolo para volver a casa no fue una mala idea.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-3 m\u00e1s competitivos, toca quitarse capas de ropa antes del coloso del d\u00eda, estamos a los pies del Klausenpass, 24.6 km al 6.1% con cota a casi 2.000 m, el fuerte viento y los 33\u00ba, hacen que las largas rampas del 10% se nos atraganten, no obstante, el paisaje merece la pena, enormes y empinados prados salpicados de vacas nos dejan una estampa id\u00edlica dif\u00edcil de Algunos sensatos deciden volver a Andermatt en tren, otros no tienen suficiente y hacen los 34 km de vuelta acumulando otros\u2026. 1.100 m de desnivel, de postre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durante la cena se escuchan m\u00e1s risas que nunca, se nota la complicidad que consigue el sufrir juntos, esto va sobre ruedas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Dia 3<\/b><b> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.komoot.com\/tour\/71489276\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>ver detalles ruta<\/em><\/a>)<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">!San Gottardo est\u00e1 abierto! Desayunamos con esa buena nueva, se notaba el optimismo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tras el check diario de todas las bicicletas nos dirigimos hacia San Gotardo desde Hospental, 8.6 km al 7.1%, con cota a 2.108 m, el ascenso es irreal, un paisaje casi lunar, nevado y con mucha niebla. El ruido de las cascadas del deshielo se mezcla con las exhalaciones, el cansancio acumulado se nota, pero el premio de la cima nos empuja, nieve, mucha nieve, \u00a1joder cuanta nieve para ser junio! Interminables curvas de herradura adoquinadas, con paredes de nieve mermada por los primeros rayos de verano. Nos reconfort\u00f3 especialmente el agradecimiento de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ronaldvandelaar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ronald<\/a>, un aventurero que ha participado en multitud de experiencias ciclistas por todo el mundo y que destac\u00f3 lo c\u00f3modo que se sinti\u00f3 en ATG 3 (\u00a1gracias Ronald!).<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Extra ball (d\u00eda 4)<\/b><b> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.komoot.com\/tour\/71615671\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>ver detalles ruta)<\/em><\/a><\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como ya es tradici\u00f3n, los que el regreso a casa se lo permit\u00eda, disfrutaron de una salida extra, una peque\u00f1a ruta por un estrecho valle que nos conducir\u00eda hacia el lago G\u00f6scheneralpsee Staudamm con unos escuetos 36 km desde casa pero con 1.400m de desnivel. Una salida corta pero intensa, un souvenir<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">perfecto para recordar, m\u00e1s si cabe, la experiencia de esos d\u00edas en Suiza.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Retrospectiva<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El balance de ATG 3 no puede ser mejor, como coment\u00e1bamos, el trabajo y planificaci\u00f3n es muy grande pero el retorno es excepcional, la satisfacci\u00f3n de los participantes, el apoyo de las marcas y la repercusi\u00f3n cada vez mayor de esta aventura nos empujan a pensar desde YA en la pr\u00f3xima
