Ciclistas que no se asustan f\u00e1cilmente ante grandes retos y no dudan ni un solo momento a la hora de ejecutarlos, organizarse, mentalizarse y llevarlo a cabo asumiendo el riesgo de logarlo con \u00e9xito o de fracasar.<\/p>\n<p>La <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/hunchback_society\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Hunchback Society<\/u><\/a>, un grupo de amantes del ciclismo y del deporte, sin duda son de esta clase de ciclistas de los que estamos hablando. Con un largo historial de aventuras\u00a0 a sus espaldas y, despu\u00e9s de conocer su \u00faltima haza\u00f1a en Barcelona, ten\u00edamos claro que no pod\u00edamos dejar pasar la oportunidad de conversar con ellos y que nos contar\u00e1n con detalle c\u00f3mo fue el <em>Everesting<\/em> que llevaron a cabo tan solo hace unos d\u00edas en Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestro amigo <a href=\"http:\/\/marcelbatlle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Marcel Batlle<\/u><\/a> es un <em>\u201cHunchback\u201d<\/em> y nos brind\u00f3 est\u00e1 entrevista donde nos explica en primera persona como fue su experiencia.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Muchos de nosotros ya conocemos el concepto EVERESTING pero, \u00bfpodr\u00edais explicarlo con vuestras palabras para nuestros lectores?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote><p>Como su nombre deja entrever, es algo relacionado con el Everest.\u00a0 Consiste en subir el desnivel positivo de la altura del Everest desde nivel del mar hasta la cima, un total de 8.884 metros.<\/p>\n<p>Lo puede hacer quien quiera y donde se quiera, ya sea en una subida super larga y con mucho desnivel y solo tener que hacer 3 subidas o en una mini subida donde tengas que hacerla 400 veces. Solo te tienes que ce\u00f1ir a unas normas:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Hacerlo en bicicleta sin andar<br \/>\n&#8211; Subir y bajar por el mismo sitio (nunca puede ser un circuito circular)<br \/>\n&#8211; El desnivel debe cubrirse del tir\u00f3n (puedes parar a descansar periodos breves, pero no puedes irte a dormir a casa y continuar al d\u00eda siguiente)<br \/>\n&#8211; Que no hayan cortes en el <em>track<\/em> del GPS.<\/p>\n<p>Si haces todas estas cosas y lo completas dan por valido tu reto.<\/p>\n<p>Si quer\u00e9is saber un poco m\u00e1s y ver todos los <em>Everestings<\/em> que se han hecho entrar en <a href=\"http:\/\/www.everesting.cc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.everesting.cc<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Una pregunta inevitable es, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9? <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote><p>Joan Cort\u00e9s, uno de los fundadores de <strong>Hunchback Society<\/strong> y aut\u00e9ntico freak del ciclismo se fue a vivir a Australia, donde conoci\u00f3 al fundador del movimiento <em>Everesting<\/em> y no paraba de hablarnos sobre ello. Nosotros pens\u00e1bamos que no \u00e9ramos tan freaks para hacerlo, luego empezamos a hablarlo, lo \u00edbamos posponiendo por otras carreras, hasta que un d\u00eda decidimos que lo har\u00edamos el primer fin de semana que pudi\u00e9ramos. Lo hubi\u00e9ramos hecho el fin de semana del Tour de Flandes, pero nos \u00edbamos a correrlo. As\u00ed que sin pensarlo, lo hicimos la siguiente semana.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>\u00bfEn qu\u00e9 os basasteis para escoger el &#8220;<em>Forat del Vent<\/em>&#8221; como lugar para llevar a cabo el reto?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote><p>Ten\u00edamos una cosa muy clara, ten\u00eda que ser en Barcelona. Estudiamos todas las subidas cercanas y fuimos descartando carreteras por tr\u00e1fico, demasiados cruces, no quer\u00edamos una subida muy larga (para no enfriarnos demasiado en la bajada)&#8230; As\u00ed que nuestra carretera ideal era <em>Forat del Vent<\/em>. 3,6km de subida con un 5% de media sin ninguna rampa fuerte y bastante amena. Ahora que ya hemos hecho la &#8220;f\u00e1cil&#8221; ya estamos pensando en todo el resto de subidas que descartamos. Seguro que en breve intentaremos hacerlo de nuevo.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo preparasteis el reto? Estrategia, horario, ritmo, etc.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote><p>Preparar, preparar&#8230; no nos preparamos nada, en cuanto a entreno f\u00edsico. Fue <em>pim-pam<\/em> y no tuvimos tiempo para nada.<\/p>\n<p>Un d\u00eda fuimos a hacer el <em>Forat del Vent<\/em> a diferentes ritmos para deducir que tiempos pod\u00edamos hacer y as\u00ed tener referencias y poder hacer un retro <em>timming<\/em>. Con un tiempo estimado de 18 horas nuestra idea era empezar a las 3:00 de la madrugada para acabar sobre las 21 horas y as\u00ed hacer las m\u00ednimas horas de oscuridad posible y hacerlas en el inicio del reto.<\/p>\n<p>Otra duda era el tema de las luces y bater\u00edas para el GPS ya que dejan muy claro en las reglas que para que el <em>Everesting<\/em> sea v\u00e1lido no puede haber ning\u00fan corte en el <em>track<\/em>. Pero nada que una buena bater\u00eda externa no nos pudiera solucionar.<\/p>\n<p>Dejamos la furgoneta en un parking a mitad de recorrido y era nuestro campo base con ropa para cambiarnos, litros y litros de agua y comida variada para que se adaptara a los antojos que te pueden dar durante unas 20 horas de pedaleo y desgaste.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Desde tu punto de vista, \u00bfqu\u00e9 ha sido lo mejor y lo peor del <em>Everesting<\/em>?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote><p>Lo mejor, \u00a1todo! Y lo peor, \u00a1NADA! La verdad es que tuvimos la suerte que mucha gente empez\u00f3 con nosotros durante las primeras horas y empezar a rodar a las 4 de la madrugada con 8 personas llena de fuerza. Durante el d\u00eda vino mucha gente a vernos y a rodar con nosotros, eso lo hizo muy ameno.<\/p>\n<p>Lo peor fue de 2 a 4 de la tarde. Hac\u00eda un calor dur\u00edsimo y nos entr\u00f3 el sue\u00f1o. Suerte que apareci\u00f3 Paco (otro <em>Hunchback<\/em>) con su bid\u00f3n lleno de caf\u00e9. Eso nos resucit\u00f3 y nos dio alas hasta completar las 51 subidas a <em>Forat del Vent<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se siente uno despu\u00e9s acumular 9000m+? Entiendo que muy cansado, pero m\u00e1s a nivel sensaciones, sentimientos, etc.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote><p>Sinceramente, la verdad es que no acabamos muy cansados. Pens\u00e1bamos que iba a ser peor.<\/p>\n<p>Creo que seguimos un ritmo s\u00faper estable y bueno. Fuimos muy met\u00f3dicos en la comida e hidrataci\u00f3n y eso nos hizo aguantar muy bien f\u00edsicamente.<\/p>\n<p>Hemos hecho locuras varias estos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os pero \u00e9sta era la primera vez que ten\u00edamos que llegar a un m\u00ednimo de desnivel sin ser una carrera ni nada organizado, as\u00ed que la tentaci\u00f3n de parar en la furgoneta e irse para casa era una opci\u00f3n&#8230; pero no fue as\u00ed. Ahora vemos que podemos hacer estas distancias por nuestra cuenta.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><strong>H\u00e1blanos un poco m\u00e1s sobre <em>Hunchback Society<\/em>&#8230;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote><p><em>Hunchback<\/em> fue creado el 1 de mayo del 2009 por Joan Cort\u00e9s, Carles Puig, Pau Milla y yo. Hartos de federarnos en clubs con los que no ten\u00edamos ninguna afinidad y que usaban equipaciones horribles, decidimos crear nuestro propio club ciclista y as\u00ed poder federarnos nosotros y cualquiera que tuviera un poco de inquietud sobre la cultura ciclista y el dise\u00f1o. Empezamos teniendo un blog, que por falta de tiempo est\u00e1 abandonado, pero que en su d\u00eda nos permiti\u00f3 conocer a mucha gente que ahora es parte de Hunchback, como Roc Majoral, mi compa\u00f1ero del <em>Everesting<\/em>. Actualmente solo nos comunicamos v\u00eda Instagram (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/hunchback_society\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>@hunchback_society<\/u><\/a>). Y hacemos una equipaci\u00f3n nueva cada a\u00f1o, estad muy atentos a la de este a\u00f1o que promete no pasar desapercibida.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-1
