El magn\u00edfico clima, la playa, las espl\u00e9ndidas carreteras para salir a rodar a pocos minutos de la ciudad, y el buen ambiente que se respira durante la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/explore\/tags\/critweek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>#critweek<\/u><\/a> hacen de Barcelona el lugar perfecto para acoger una de las pruebas del <a href=\"https:\/\/redhookcrit.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Red Hook Crit<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>El <strong><em>Track Day<\/em><\/strong> en el <strong>Vel\u00f2drom d\u2019Horta Miquel Poblet<\/strong> ya es una cita habitual a la que nadie quiere faltar. Un d\u00eda en el que los participantes del RHC Barcelona tienen la oportunidad de rodar en estas magn\u00edficas instalaciones ol\u00edmpicas de mano del club <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pistabcn.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Pista Barcelona<\/u><\/a> y patrocinadas por <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mybeautifulparking.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>My Beautiful Parking<\/u><\/a>, como novedad de este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Otro evento de obligada asistencia es la gran <strong><em>Welcome Party<\/em><\/strong> que organizan los <em>homies<\/em> de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dosnoventabikes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Dosnoventa<\/u><\/a> en su Headquarters. Una fiesta con marca de la casa propia en la que la cerveza gratis, la buena m\u00fasica y bicis por todos lados, no pueden faltar. De hecho, este a\u00f1o hubo una asistencia tan bestia que la calle estaba completamente abarrotada llegando a bloquear el paso y, por consiguiente, la visita de nuestros amigos m\u00e1s queridos, la Polic\u00eda.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>RACE DAY<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Con record de asistencia (350 corredores de 34 nacionalidades diferentes) y un redise\u00f1ado trazado se presentaba la cuarta edici\u00f3n del Red Hook Crit Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>Un circuito rapid\u00edsimo de 1.155m, menos t\u00e9cnico que en a\u00f1os anteriores pero, no por ello, m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil y, como novedad, el trazado se realizaba en sentido anti-horario.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Open Session &amp; Qualify<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>La sesi\u00f3n <em>open<\/em> que la organizaci\u00f3n ha puesto en marcha este a\u00f1o es una aut\u00e9ntica maravilla para los corredores. El poder hacer un reconocimiento del circuito, familiarizarse con las curvas y ver qu\u00e9 desarrollo ser\u00e1 el m\u00e1s adecuado para realizar la clasificaci\u00f3n y la carrera, es de gran ayuda para aspirar a hacer un buen resultado durante el d\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Un total de siete grupos completaban la <em>qualify<\/em> masculina y uno paras las f\u00e9minas, compuesto de 52 chicas.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso de los chicos, pudimos ver una clasificaci\u00f3n apurad\u00edsima en la que pod\u00edamos encontrar a 25 corredores rodando en un mismo segundo y con apenas d\u00e9cimas de diferencia.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Last Chance Race<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Si hubo un indicativo para contrastar el aumento de nivel que pudimos ver este a\u00f1o respecto otras ediciones fue, sin duda, la parrilla de salida de la Last Chance Race. Nombres como <strong>Kyle Murphy<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mashsf.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Mash SF<\/u><\/a>), <strong>Jeremy Santucci<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chariandconyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Chari&amp;Co<\/u><\/a>), <strong>Nicholas Varani<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.laclassica.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>LaClassica<\/u><\/a>) o <strong>Marco Cecchinato<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bahumer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Bahumer<\/u><\/a>), entre otros, que hasta hace muy poco eran habituales de las finales directas, en esta ocasi\u00f3n les tocar\u00eda batirse con otros muchos para intentar colarse a la carrera estrella de la noche.<\/p>\n<p>El ritmo de carrera fue vertiginoso, muchos confesaron al acabar que fue una aut\u00e9ntica final. Hubo varios intentos de escapada para romper el grupo principal y una aut\u00e9ntica lucha por hacerse un hueco entre los 10 primeros puestos. Destacar una brillante actuaci\u00f3n de los corredores de <a href=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/poloandbike-luchando-por-un-sueno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>POLOANDBIKE<\/u><\/a>, <strong>Mario Junquera<\/strong> y <strong>Pablo Suarez<\/strong>, los cuales hicieron una gran carrera y consiguieron hacerse con el primer y segundo puesto (sucesivamente), seguido de <strong>Jeremy Borden<\/strong> del <strong>Dosnoventa Attaquer Team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Women\u2019s Race<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Muchos de nosotros descubr\u00edamos a <strong>Rachele Barbieri<\/strong> en esta edici\u00f3n. Una joven Italiana de tan solo 19 a\u00f1os que resulta ser una aut\u00e9ntica bestia encima de la bici y que viene de ganar un gran n\u00famero de importantes competiciones a nivel internacional.<\/p>\n<p>Pues bien, sin la asistencia de la brit\u00e1nica, <strong>Dani King<\/strong>, y la incorporaci\u00f3n de Rachele a la lista de inscritas junto con las ya habituales <strong>Ainara Elbusto<\/strong>, <strong>Jasmine Dotti<\/strong>, <strong>Ash Duban<\/strong>, etc. promet\u00eda una final femenina de infarto.<\/p>\n<p>Desde el primer momento, Ainara, que obtuvo el mejor tiempo de la clasificaci\u00f3n, lider\u00f3 el grupo de cabeza y no quitaba ojo de sus adversarias. Hab\u00eda cambios de ritmos constantes y muchas corredoras con ganas de romper el grupo. Pudimos ver algunos intentos de escapada, pero fueron neutralizados r\u00e1pidamente por las \u201cjefas\u201d del grupo.<\/p>\n<p>Destacar la gran actuaci\u00f3n de <strong>Ana Usabiaga<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/poloandbike-luchando-por-un-sueno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>POLOANDBIKE<\/u><\/a>), <strong>Carla Nafr\u00eda<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/8bar-team-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>8bar Team<\/u><\/a>) y <strong>Virginia Cancellieri<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/iride-fixed-modena\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Ird Carrera Squadra Corse<\/u><\/a>), las cuales hicieron una carrera espectacular luchando por los primeros puestos y liderando en muchos casos la cabeza del pelot\u00f3n. <strong>Francisca Campos<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sufferwhenyouseeme.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>RAW Santafixie Team<\/u><\/a>), qui\u00e9n hizo tambi\u00e9n una gran carrera, se vio afectada por los constantes cambios de ritmo y por la pesadez de la relaci\u00f3n escogida y le impidieron mantener hasta el final su posici\u00f3n en el pelot\u00f3n principal. Todo y as\u00ed, brind\u00f3 todo un espect\u00e1culo a un p\u00fablico que curva tras curva gritaba el nombre de la corredora Chilena.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, las ganadoras se decidieron en la \u00faltima vuelta con victoria de <strong>Rachele Barbieri<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/iride-fixed-modena\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Ird Carrera Squadra Corse<\/u><\/a>), <strong>Ana Usabiaga<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/poloandbike-luchando-por-un-sueno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>POLOANDBIKE<\/u><\/a>) y <strong>Jasmine Dotti<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/oscarcyclingteam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ridewill Oscar Cycling<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Men\u2019s Race<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de las carreras que hab\u00edamos vivido hac\u00eda apenas unas horas, la final masculina cargada de titanes de las dos ruedas, promet\u00eda ser incre\u00edble.<\/p>\n<p>Las primeras posiciones en la l\u00ednea de salida las ocupaban los m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos de la clasificaci\u00f3n: el americano, <strong>Colin Strickland<\/strong>, corredor del <strong>Allez-Allez Specialized<\/strong>, seguido de <strong>Augusto Reati<\/strong> del <strong>Supernova Factory Team<\/strong> y de otro grande como lo es <strong>Addison Zawada<\/strong> del <strong>State Bicycle Co<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Tras la interminable cuenta atr\u00e1s de <strong>Mr.Trimble<\/strong>, la carrera dio comienzo y lo hizo a gran velocidad.<\/p>\n<p>El p\u00fablico quedaba totalmente perplejo al ver la velocidad a la que los corredores trazaban las curvas y se enfilaban hacia las siguientes zonas del circuito. \u00a1Una aut\u00e9ntica locura!<\/p>\n<p>Pudimos ver aut\u00e9nticas luchas por defender las posiciones en cabeza de carrera e intentos de escapada frustrados por corredores como <strong>Mario Paz Duque<\/strong> que fue uno de los encargados de mantener el grupo unido y neutralizar las intenciones de m\u00e1s de uno.<\/p>\n<p>Resaltar la grand\u00edsima actuaci\u00f3n de <strong>Mario Junquera<\/strong> que tras conseguir la victoria en la <em>Last Chance Race<\/em> y, saliendo desde las \u00faltimas filas de la parrilla de salida, consigui\u00f3 llegar a la cabeza de carrera y luch\u00f3 por las primeras posiciones junto con su hermano <strong>Lu\u00eds Junquera<\/strong>, y su compa\u00f1ero <strong>Gonzalo Andres<\/strong>, todos del equipo <a href=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/poloandbike-luchando-por-un-sueno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>POLOANDBIKE<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, tambi\u00e9n vimos un aut\u00e9ntico espect\u00e1culo de mano de <strong>Evan Murphy<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mashsf.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Mash SF<\/u><\/a>) y \u00a0<strong>Tristan Uhl<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aventon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><u>Aventon Factory Team<\/u><\/a>), los cuales azotaron al pelot\u00f3n con alguna que otra escapada y tambi\u00e9n neutralizaron a los del <strong>Allez-Allez Specialized<\/strong> en otras tantas.<\/p>\n<p>El resultado final se resolvi\u00f3 en la \u00faltima vuelta con una nueva victoria del Texano, <strong>Colin Strickland<\/strong>, seguido de
