El arte de las rat bikes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Llev\u00e1bamos tiempo tras la pista de Ren\u00e9, un alem\u00e1n afincado en Londres, responsable de muchas de las customizaciones m\u00e1s especiales que hemos visto en la escena <em>fixed<\/em>. \u00bfSu firma? El envejecimiento en forma de pintura y la\u00a0combinaci\u00f3n de piezas para darle esa apariencia entre antiguo y dejadez\u00a0sobre todos sus trabajos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. \u00bfQui\u00e9n es Mot\u00f6rReen? \u00bfC\u00f3mo empez\u00f3 tu pasi\u00f3n? \u00bfCu\u00e1ndo entraste en la personalizaci\u00f3n?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hola, me llamo <strong>Ren\u00e9 Donner<\/strong> y soy la fuerza impulsora de <a href=\"http:\/\/motorreeen.tumblr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mot\u00f6rReeen<\/a>. Nac\u00ed en la antigua Alemania del Este y con 37 a\u00f1os de edad soy lo suficientemente viejo para recordar la vida antes de la ca\u00edda del muro de Berl\u00edn. Mis a\u00f1os de adolescencia en el Berl\u00edn unificado de aquel entonces, la gran disponibilidad de espacios industriales abandonados fue el primer paso. Mi ocupaci\u00f3n principal era encontrar los mejores lugares para el <em>skate<\/em> y paredes donde poder utilizar los espr\u00e1is <em>Belton Chrome<\/em> y <em>Heat Red<\/em> montado en mi BMX. Termin\u00e9 mis estudios universitarios de Producci\u00f3n de Medios Digitales y Medios de Comunicaci\u00f3n, viv\u00ed y trabaj\u00e9 en Berl\u00edn, despu\u00e9s a Bergen (Noruega) y hace casi 8 a\u00f1os que vivo en Londres. La industria de los medios me llev\u00f3 a ir all\u00ed s\u00f3lo para entrar en el meollo, jajaja. Y todo cambi\u00f3, pas\u00f3 de una maldici\u00f3n a una dosis diaria de adrenalina cuando sub\u00eda a mi bici y a rodar. Una <em>fixie<\/em>. Madrugones y una bolsa enorme.<\/p>\n<p>Este entorno de esa criatura en particular, el ciclista urbano, cre\u00f3 <em>riders<\/em>, carreras y bicis; me encanta. Siempre he tenido la costumbre de modificar la apariencia y el rendimiento de mis cosas. Nunca he podido realmente dejar mi mente tranquila,\u00a0 sin retocar, mejorar o volviendo a dise\u00f1ar mis bicis. Primero para m\u00ed mismo, despu\u00e9s para mis amigos y ahora para mis clientes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>2. \u00bfC\u00f3mo trabajas con los metales?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Me fascina la belleza de la decadencia, fuertemente influenciado por el entorno de las motos americanas y personalizadas <em>hotrod<\/em>, las <em>rat bikes<\/em> simplemente conectaron conmigo. Me encanta el aspecto y la sensaci\u00f3n de or\u00edn, pero la m\u00e1quina necesita ajustarse a la perfecci\u00f3n, no hay viejas chatarras! Empec\u00e9 a usar pintura para simular el aspecto de la edad. En primer lugar en mi Leader 735 sacando la capa de acabado luego imitando completamente el \u00f3xido y a\u00f1os de uso, como en mi Kagero.<\/p>\n<p>Todo se hace con pintura, sin degradaci\u00f3n del material. Puedo oxidar tanto la aleaci\u00f3n del marco, as\u00ed como la fibra de carbono, tu casco o el tanque de pl\u00e1stico de gas.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>3. \u00bfCu\u00e1ndo empezaste a personalizar bicis?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Empec\u00e9 en 2011 con pocos encargos, piezas y trabajos de pintura m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os como el encargo del juego de ruedas y bujes en la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fagginbikes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Faggin<\/a>. Mi segunda <em>rat bike<\/em>, la Kagero llam\u00f3 tanto la atenci\u00f3n que empec\u00e9 a recibir encargos de todo el mundo que iban desde el aspecto totalmente oxidado hasta los acabados hechos a medida.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>4. \u00bfCu\u00e1l es tu opini\u00f3n acerca del pi\u00f1\u00f3n fijo?<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Cuando entr\u00e9 en contacto con el mundo de la bicicleta de pista en la calle, me fascin\u00f3 la idea. No porque tuviese sentido, porque no lo tiene, pero porque a m\u00ed me va tan bien. Uno coge habilidad y eso anima al <em>rider<\/em>. Para m\u00ed significa que estoy en aquel momento plenamente consciente de mi entorno. Tengo que estarlo y es como mi terapia. Entiendo que no es para todo el mundo igual y no quiero desprestigiar a nadie, \u00a1mientras se ruede!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>5. Cu\u00e9ntanos m\u00e1s sobre el nuevo proyecto de 8bar edici\u00f3n limitada.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Se me ocurri\u00f3 este proyecto cuando empec\u00e9 a buscar un nuevo cuadro. Hoy en d\u00eda muchas empresas est\u00e1n haciendo cuadros y componentes de pista con un rendimiento asequible, impensable hace cinco a\u00f1os. Las bicicletas 8bar originarias de \u200b\u200bBerl\u00edn me llamaron la atenci\u00f3n de inmediato, ya que sus cuadros son como a m\u00ed me gustan. De calidad alta a un precio competitivo. Cuando me acerqu\u00e9 a <em>Stefan<\/em> para ver si pod\u00edamos trabajar en algo juntos, \u00e9l inmediatamente se interes\u00f3. Este a\u00f1o lanzamos este nuevo cuadro conocido como <strong>Krzberg V5<\/strong> creando una maravilla que marc\u00f3 un antes y un despu\u00e9s en mi trabajo de pintura, el cual fue todo un reto uniendo \u00f3xido y camuflaje, dos elementos que se enlazan y se anulan entre s\u00ed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>6. Mu\u00e9stranos algunos de tus trabajos con una peque\u00f1a descripci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Faggin Vigorelli<\/strong>: mi primer y t\u00edmido encargo, ruedas hechas a mano con bujes pintados a gusto del cliente. Lamentablemente esa bici fue robada durante la <strong>London Riots 2011<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leader 735<\/strong>: para estrenar, la pint\u00e9 antes de montarla y envejec\u00ed los nuevos componentes que iban montados en ella mediante la pintura. Mis amigos pensaron que hab\u00eda perdido el norte.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leader\u00a0Kagero (2011)<\/strong>: Piezas hechas por encargo por todo el taller. Modificaci\u00f3n \/ eliminaci\u00f3n del logo en la tija y en la potencia, manillar de pista Cinelli pulido a mano, bielas Omnium con un revestimiento negro mate, rueda trasera echa a medida.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leader\u00a0Kagero (re-styling 2012)<\/strong>: totalmente pintada y con una rueda\u00a0 de carbono con 16 agujeros.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cinelli Vigorelli<\/strong>: Recreaci\u00f3n del cuadro original, pero hecho a mi manera.<\/li>\n<li><strong>8bar Krzberg V5<\/strong>: mezcla de \u00f3xido y camuflaje en uno de los cuadros m\u00e1s ligeros que existen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Gracias a\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Gracias a mi familia, a mi novia y amigos m\u00e1s cercanos.
