Un golpe de efecto al ciclismo de pista local"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hace mucho tiempo que andamos detr\u00e1s de este art\u00edculo y como <strong>RAW Cycling Magazine<\/strong> y apasionados del ciclismo ten\u00edamos una cita pendiente con el club m\u00e1s representativo del ciclismo de pista de nuestra ciudad, el club <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pistabcn.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pista Barcelona<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Siendo algunos de nosotros miembros del mismo club, hemos vivido desde muy cerca sus inicios, su historia y la evoluci\u00f3n del proyecto, personas que han cre\u00eddo y luchado por volver a recuperar una instalaci\u00f3n tan m\u00edtica como lo es el <strong>vel\u00f3dromo de Horta<\/strong> y la pr\u00e1ctica del ciclismo de pista en una ciudad como lo es Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>Durante varios a\u00f1os el ciclismo de pista ha sufrido una notable decadencia (quitando algunas excepciones) debido al poco apoyo de las administraciones, las escuelas y los propios ciclistas que nos hemos olvidado de dar continuidad a la generaci\u00f3n que nos segu\u00eda y hemos dejado en pleno abandono a muchos vel\u00f3dromos e instalaciones hist\u00f3ricas de nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Desde hace un poco m\u00e1s de dos a\u00f1os, estamos viviendo un movimiento de recuperaci\u00f3n global de los m\u00edticos vel\u00f3dromos que forman parte de la historia del ciclismo de pista, ya sea por el crecimiento del ciclismo urbano y el pi\u00f1\u00f3n fijo o porque la gente se ha dado cuenta que es una pena que, instalaciones tan legendarias como el mism\u00edsimo <strong>Vel\u00f3dromo Vigorelli<\/strong> (Mil\u00e1n), acaben abandonados o, a\u00fan peor, derribados.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso del <strong>Vel\u00f3dromo de Horta,<\/strong> en Barcelona (ahora re-bautizado como <strong>Vel\u00f3dromo de Horta Miquel Poblet<\/strong>), no ha sido uno de los m\u00e1s olvidados por sus caracter\u00edsticas y localizaci\u00f3n. En gran parte, los responsables de mantener con vida el ciclismo en pista en sus instalaciones, han sido <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jaumemas.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jaume Mas<\/a><\/strong> y <strong>Vicen\u00e7 Catal\u00e0<\/strong> fundadores del <strong>Pista Barcelona<\/strong>, el primer club de pista nacido con la intenci\u00f3n de acercar, ense\u00f1ar y dar a conocer todo lo que rodea a esta gran disciplina.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Jaume:<\/strong> <em>\u201cPista BCN\u00a0 es una pieza muy necesaria y hace de nexo entre el ciclismo de alta competici\u00f3n y el ciclismo urbano.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Todo empez\u00f3 en verano de 2012, para aquel entonces Jaume sol\u00eda ir una vez al a\u00f1o a Italia con un grupo de ciclistas para participar en un evento que se celebraba en el vel\u00f3dromo de <strong>Fiorenzuola<\/strong>, Italia. Justo ese a\u00f1o, Jaume se hab\u00eda quedado sin ayudante que lo acompa\u00f1ara. Fruto de la casualidad, Jaume y Vicen\u00e7 coincidieron en el vel\u00f3dromo de Horta justo el d\u00eda antes de marchar de viaje y Jaume no dud\u00f3 en proponerle a Vicen\u00e7 si quer\u00eda acompa\u00f1arle.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Jaume:<\/strong> <em>\u201c<\/em><em>\u00bfTe vienes a Italia?\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Vicen\u00e7:<\/strong> <em>\u201c\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo?\u201d<br \/>\n<\/em><strong>Jaume:<\/strong> \u201c<em>Ma\u00f1ana a las 04:00 de la madrugada\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Como en las pel\u00edculas cuando se juntan dos grandes, el resultado no puede ser otro que un \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n<p>Durante ese viaje Jaume le cont\u00f3 todos los proyectos que ten\u00eda en mente, ofrecer servicios al ciclista, montar un club e intentar ofrecer lo que nadie hab\u00eda hecho hasta ahora: iniciaci\u00f3n a la pista, preparar a corredores nacionales y extranjeros, viajes, equipo de competici\u00f3n, etc. Fue ah\u00ed donde se termin\u00f3 de dar forma a lo que luego se convertir\u00eda en el Pista BCN.<\/p>\n<p>A la vuelta del viaje se pusieron manos a la obra para montar el club. Ten\u00edan claro que quer\u00edan acercar el ciclismo urbano a la pista, y en enero de 2013 crearon el primer grupo de iniciaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PISTA BCN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unos de los objetivos principales del club es dar cabida a todo el mundo, intentar abrir las puertas del vel\u00f3dromo al mundo y no hacer distinciones. Ense\u00f1ar todo lo que rodea a esta disciplina que es mucho m\u00e1s que dar vueltas a un \u00f3valo, conocer la t\u00e9cnica, las pruebas, el respeto al peralte, la motivaci\u00f3n, el trabajo en equipo y, sobre todo, a saber disfrutar de la pista.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Vicen\u00e7:<\/strong><em> \u201cPara ir deprisa, primero hay que saber ir lento.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tanto Jaume como Vicen\u00e7 reconocen aprender mucho de la gente que viene del ciclismo urbano y que no se considera ciclista habitual. Acostumbra a ser gente que viene con muchas ganas de aprender, y la posibilidad de ver c\u00f3mo, entreno tras entreno, cada vez se desenvuelven mejor por la pista y ser testigos de la progresi\u00f3n que realizan con el paso de los d\u00edas, reconocen que es una sensaci\u00f3n muy gratificante para ellos como entrenadores.<\/p>\n<p>Nosotros mismos, hace ya tiempo, participamos en una de las <em>Velodrom Sessions<\/em> que sirven como bautizo en la pista, y la sensaci\u00f3n que tuvimos fue incre\u00edble, Jaume y Vicen\u00e7 han conseguido eliminar la barrera entre el ciclista aficionado\/urbano y el ciclismo de pista.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Vicen\u00e7:<\/strong> <em>\u201cCualquier s\u00edmbolo de agradecimiento o inter\u00e9s por el ciclismo de pista, te compensa por todo el esfuerzo.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jaume: <\/strong><em>\u201cEl ciclista de competici\u00f3n suele ser un animal muy desagradecido y, en cambio, una persona que le ense\u00f1as a ir en bicicleta o a rodar por la pista\u2026 ese gracias que te dan al acabar\u2026 hay muchos ciclistas profesionales que deber\u00edan aprender.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A d\u00eda de hoy el Pista Barcelona es una realidad, el club ha ido creciendo y fortaleci\u00e9ndose con el paso de los d\u00edas. Actualmente cuenta con alrededor de 60 socios, ha servido como referencia para otros clubs\/escuelas que han decidido sumarse a este movimiento por recuperar la buena salud del ciclismo de pista y cada vez son m\u00e1s los interesados en conocer esta gran disciplina. Le han dado un buen empuj\u00f3n al ciclismo de pista y parece que las administraciones, poco a poco, van\u00a0respondiendo, una\u00a0prueba de ellos es la <strong>reciente rehabilitaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de las instalaciones y la <strong>substituci\u00f3n de la madera ol\u00edmpica<\/strong> por una nueva que tanto la Federaci\u00f3n Catalana de Ciclismo como varios clubs llevaban tiempo reclamando.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Jaume:<\/strong> <em>\u201cAgradecer a Manel Herrando, \u00a0director del Vel\u00f3dromo de Horta Miquel Poblet, por la confianza que deposita en nosotros y en nuestro proyecto a diario. Nos esforzamos mucho pero, sin apoyos como este, no hubiese sido posible. Tambi\u00e9n destacar la importancia de los socios del club, sin ellos, nosotros no somos nadie.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>El trabajo que hacen con los socios en cada uno de los entrenamientos es asombroso, han conseguido ense\u00f1ar a rodar por el peralte y competir a gente que el primer d\u00eda asustaba verlos, han\u00a0sabido perfeccionar las virtudes de cada <em>pistard <\/em>encima de su bici, han facilitado las gu\u00edas esenciales para saber entrenar y mejorar el rendimiento&#8230;en definitiva,\u00a0basta con acercarse a una sesi\u00f3n de entrenamiento del club para ver todo el empe\u00f1o que ponen en explicar, transmitir y disfrutar del ciclismo de pista.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a1<em>Chapeau<\/em> por gente como ellos!<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style
