Un grupo de amigos en el que la amistad se ha forjado a base de ir en bici, en el que todos se llevan bien, en el que todos colaboran y disfrutan pedaleando juntos. Divertirse es el objetivo principal.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c<em>Los viajes se hacen por diversi\u00f3n. No se hacen por superar nada. La finalidad es apoyarnos entre nosotros y llegar juntos.<\/em>\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Todo empez\u00f3 con un viaje <strong>Madrid-Burdeos<\/strong> con la excusa de ir a visitar a la novia de uno de ellos que estaba viviendo en la ciudad Francesa. Un viaje de cuatro d\u00edas, sin asistencia alguna, solos con sus bicis de pi\u00f1\u00f3n fijo y sus maletas de <em>bike-messenger<\/em> cargadas hasta arriba. Toda una haza\u00f1a que no pas\u00f3 desapercibida y que fue el inicio de todo.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de este viaje, lleg\u00f3 <strong>Barcelona-Madrid<\/strong> tras la segunda edici\u00f3n del Red Hook Crit en la ciudad Condal.<\/p>\n<p>Y, ahora, con el objetivo principal de presentar oficialmente a The Roosters con un <a title=\"The Roosters\" href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/119277483\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">espectacular v\u00eddeo<\/a>, se marcan otro pedazo de viaje, esta vez <strong>Madrid-Valencia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Primero lo presentaron en Madrid, en la mejor cafeter\u00eda ciclista y que tanto nos gusta, <a title=\"La bicicleta caf\u00e9\" href=\"http:\/\/www.labicicletacafe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">La Bicicleta Cycling Caf\u00e9<\/a> y, tras pedalear durante tres largos d\u00edas, lo hicieron en la tienda de los amigos de <a title=\"DeQueBikes\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dequebikes.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeQueBikes<\/a>, en Valencia.<\/p>\n<p>Tuvieron el\u00a0respaldo de importantes marcas como\u00a0<a title=\"W.A.U. - We are united\" href=\"http:\/\/www.waubrand.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">W\u00b7A\u00b7U (weareunited)<\/a>, <a title=\"Bolero Meatballs\" href=\"https:\/\/es-es.facebook.com\/boleromeatballs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bolero Meatballs<\/a>, <a title=\"Proisme\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Proisme\/1425761584366934\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Proisme<\/a>, y <a title=\"Arnette\" href=\"http:\/\/global.arnette.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arnette<\/a>\u00a0durante toda la aventura y, pese a que no tuvimos la suerte de poder acompa\u00f1arles en esta locura de viaje, hemos podido reproducir, gracias a <a title=\"Mario Cranks\" href=\"http:\/\/mariocranks.tumblr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mario Cranks<\/a>, una cr\u00f3nica resumen de los tres d\u00edas que pasaron a lomos de sus bicis cabalgando noche y d\u00eda hasta alcanzar la gloria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LOS HECHOS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Viernes, 06 de febrero<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>(Madrid &#8211; Tendilla (Guadalajara). 80 km y 1.000 m desnivel)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Quedaban a eso de las 15:00 en el Bolero Meatballs de Madrid para comer juntos, revisar el planning del viaje, hacer los \u00faltimos ajustes e iniciar el viaje lo antes posible, pero, como manda <a title=\"Ley de Murphy\" href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ley_de_Murphy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Murphy<\/em><\/a>, por muy temprano que planees salir, siempre acabas saliendo tarde y, esta, no iba a ser una excepci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Sobre las 17:00 sal\u00edan de Madrid con destino a Valencia. Un viaje que durar\u00eda 3 d\u00edas, 412 kil\u00f3metros y m\u00e1s de 4.100 metros de desnivel. Casi nada.<\/p>\n<p>El tr\u00e1fico denso, t\u00edpico del viernes por la tarde, les complic\u00f3 bastante el salir de la gran ciudad. Llegaban a la periferia de noche y tuvieron que hacer la mayor parte del camino bajo la oscuridad, el duro fr\u00edo y la \u00fanica compa\u00f1\u00eda de sus luces.<\/p>\n<p>A falta de 30 km hicieron una parada para descansar un poco, sobre todo Nacho que estaba algo d\u00e9bil y no quer\u00edan forzar. Llevaba m\u00e1s de un mes sin subirse en la bici debido a una lesi\u00f3n y era el que quiz\u00e1 iba un poco m\u00e1s bajo de forma. Todo y as\u00ed, no dud\u00f3 ni un solo momento en querer hacer el viaje.<\/p>\n<p>Sobre las 22:30 llegaban a Tendilla (Guadalajara), pasar\u00edan la noche en un hostal t\u00edpico de la Espa\u00f1a profunda, de aquellos con la mentalidad un poco arraigada a los tiempos pasados, pero que no por ello supuso alg\u00fan problema, al contrario, les atendieron estupendamente, cuidaron de sus bicis, cenaron muy bien y pudieron descansar toda la noche para afrontar una nueva jornada de duro pedaleo al d\u00eda siguiente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S\u00e1bado, 07 de febrero<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>(Tendilla (Guadalajara) &#8211; Carboneras de Guadaza\u00f3n (Cuenca). 152 km y 2.160 m desnivel) <\/em><\/p>\n<p>A las 08:30 reanudaban el viaje con una nueva etapa. Esta vez de 150 kms y con bastante desnivel. De hecho, nada m\u00e1s salir ya se toparon con las primeras pendientes.<\/p>\n<p>Hicieron los primeros 30 kil\u00f3metros rodeados de agradables paisajes, sube y bajas, y un fr\u00edo de infarto.<\/p>\n<p>Pararon en Sacedon (Guadalajara) para hacer el segundo desayuno, algo que por costumbre no suelen saltarse.<\/p>\n<p>Con el est\u00f3mago lleno, se montaban nuevamente en sus bicis de pi\u00f1\u00f3n fijo y se lanzaban otra vez a la carretera sin ser conocedores de lo que les esperaba.<\/p>\n<p>Habiendo recorrido escasos metros se encontraron con un puerto con un 9% de media, que les hizo sufrir mucho, hasta el punto que, Mario, lleg\u00f3 a lo m\u00e1s alto sangrando por la nariz debido al esfuerzo y las bajas temperaturas.<\/p>\n<p>Las subidas y bajadas no cesaban y sobre el kil\u00f3metro 80 de ruta, el paisaje se ti\u00f1\u00f3 de blanco por la nieve ca\u00edda d\u00edas atr\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de comer y haber superado las \u00faltimas pendientes, la carretera empezaba a llanear y pudieron mejorar el ritmo y la forma de trabajar en equipo, m\u00e1s tranquilos, m\u00e1s compenetrados y m\u00e1s concentrados en avanzar metros.<\/p>\n<p>Sin duda, Nacho era qui\u00e9n peor lo llevaba. Su rodilla le estaba pasando factura y le costaba mantener el ritmo del grupo. Los \u00faltimos kil\u00f3metros para \u00e9l y Aukerman, que tambi\u00e9n comenzaba a resentirse, se hicieron muy duros.<\/p>\n<p>Sobre las 20:00 llegaban a Carboneras de Guadaza\u00f3n (Cuenca) donde pasar\u00edan la noche.<\/p>\n<p>Era el momento de una cerveza fresca, una buena ducha y una cena en condiciones, repasar como hab\u00eda ido el d\u00eda y coger \u00e1nimos para la \u00faltima etapa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Domingo, 08 de febrero<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>(Carboneras de Guadaza\u00f3n (Cuenca) \u2013 Valencia. 180 km y 1.450 m desnivel)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Era domingo, \u00faltimo d\u00eda de viaje. Quedaban 180 km hasta Valencia e iba a ser un d\u00eda duro.<\/p>\n<p>Amanec\u00edan a -8 grados, las bicis estaban completamente llenas de sal por toda la zona de nieve que hab\u00edan recorrido el d\u00eda anterior pero lo mejor era que el sol estaba presente por primera vez desde que salieron de Madrid.<\/p>\n<p>Nacho y Aukerman estaban bastante fastidiados, cada uno con sus molestias.<\/p>\n<p>Los primeros kil\u00f3metros fueron dif\u00edciles hasta que lograron calentar las articulaciones y coger un poco el ritmo.<\/p>\n<p>Les esperaban 35 km de desnivel importante y en el que sufrir\u00edan un desgaste f\u00edsico notable.<\/p>\n<p>Poco a poco fueron superando todas y cada una de las pendientes que se les presentaban en el camino y ve\u00edan como el paisaje iba cambiando a medida que avanzaban.<\/p>\n<p>Dejaban la nieve atr\u00e1s, y empezaron una zona de llaneo con viento a favor que les ayud\u00f3 a avanzar con facilidad hasta Utiel habiendo recorrido unos 90 km desde que salieron por la ma\u00f1ana.<\/p>\n<p>Pararon a comer y los \u00e1nimos estaban un poco bajos por la paliza de rectas interminables que acababan de atravesar en las que pedaleas y pedaleas y parece que no pasan los kil\u00f3metros. Pese a ello, iban bien de tiempo y la previsi\u00f3n era de llegar sobre las 19:00 a Valencia.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez m\u00e1s, de vuelta a la carretera con fuerzas renovadas y ganas de llegar.<\/p>\n<p>Circulaban por la carretera nacional y tuvieron que coger la autov\u00eda A3 (Madrid-Valencia) por qu\u00e9 no ten\u00edan m\u00e1s alternativas.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de circular durante un buen rato por esta carretera, se percataron que hab\u00eda una v\u00eda de servicio paralela y que ser\u00eda mucho mejor circular por ella. Dicho y hecho. Sin pensarlo dos veces, cogieron y saltaron las vallas que separaban las dos carreteras y reanudaron la marcha por esa v\u00eda mucho m\u00e1s tranquilos.<\/p>\n<p>Comenzaba a atardecer, el paisaje mejoraba y hac\u00eda una buena temperatura. Todo pintaba bien pero lo que no se esperaban era que, de repente, la carretera secundaria por la que circulaban se convirtiera en un camino casi sin asfaltar.<\/p>\n<p>Quiz\u00e1 en un contexto diferente una persona cualquier se hubiese cabreado y hubiese buscado una opci\u00f3n alternativa para salir de ese apuro pero, estos cinco \u201cmacarras\u201d no se echan atr\u00e1s con nada y menos por un camino en mal estado. Era el momento de olvidarse del cansancio, y de los dolores, y poner el modo CX para disfrutar de esos 3 o 4 kil\u00f3metros como ni\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de ese breve par\u00e9ntesis inesperado, la autov\u00eda A3 pasaba a ser de nuevo carretera nacional y se incorporaron de nuevo. Cogieron un ritmo r\u00e1pido, con intenci\u00f3n de recuperar el tiempo perdido.<\/p>\n<p>Estaban llegando a Bu\u00f1ol y, a medida que se acercaban a las ciudades, todo se complicaba por momentos. Cada vez hab\u00eda m\u00e1s intersecciones de carreteras y se hac\u00eda muy dif\u00edcil acertar con el camino. Ve\u00edan Valencia a lo lejos pero parec\u00eda que no conseguir\u00edan llegar nunca.<\/p>\n<p>Comenzaron a callejear, a coger rutas alternativas, confusiones, etc. Al final, encontraron un camino por dentro de una urbanizaci\u00f3n que, te\u00f3ricamente, llevaba a Torrent d\u00f3nde los chicos de <strong>DeQueBikes<\/strong>\u00a0les esperaban. Y digo te\u00f3ricamente porque, de repente, el camino se encontraba cortado por una valla que cercaba un enorme huerto de naranjos y, una vez m\u00e1s, tuvieron que armase de valor y saltar con las bicis y las maletas (esta vez a un recinto privado) para poder continuar. Lo m\u00e1s curioso es que el camino continuaba por dentro, no desaparec\u00eda pero no ten\u00eda una raz\u00f3n l\u00f3gica de porqu\u00e9 estaba as\u00ed montado.<\/p>\n<p>Tras salir del huerto, consiguieron recuperar un poco la tranquilidad al ver que ya iban por buen camino y que todo pintaba bien.<\/p>\n<p>En Torrent se encontraron con el grupo de gente que les esperaba, la alegr\u00eda y la euforia comenzaban a brotar por el recibimiento, las felicitaciones y los \u00e1nimos de todos los que les esperaban.<\/p>\n<p>Ya en la ciudad, recorrieron algunas calles hasta llegar a <strong>DeQueBikes<\/strong>\u00a0donde oficialmente acababa el viaje. Lo hab\u00edan logrado. Las primeras horas del viaje, entre los nervios, la presi\u00f3n de que todo saliera bien y las preocupaciones, nos cost\u00f3 un poco encontrar el punto y empezar a trabajar en equipo.
