{"id":36285,"date":"2014-09-12T16:12:12","date_gmt":"2014-09-12T14:12:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/raw.ecoolabs.com\/red-hook-crit-barcelona-no-2\/"},"modified":"2014-09-12T16:12:12","modified_gmt":"2014-09-12T14:12:12","slug":"red-hook-crit-barcelona-no-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/es\/red-hook-crit-barcelona-no-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Red Hook Crit Barcelona No.2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Poco a poco se va desvaneciendo \u201cla bomba de adrenalina\u201d que ha provocado durante esta \u00faltima semana la segunda edici\u00f3n del <a title=\"Red Hook Crit\" href=\"http:\/\/redhookcrit.com\/bcn-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Red Hook Crit<\/a> de Barcelona. Tuvimos la suerte de vivir nuevamente en nuestra ciudad este fant\u00e1stico espect\u00e1culo, recibir la visita de los riders m\u00e1s bestias del campeonato y, como no, disfrutar a tope de este gran evento.<\/p>\n<p>Todo est\u00e1 dicho sobre el RHC y los resultados del s\u00e1bado pero, m\u00e1s que comentar tiempos, clasificaciones y dar sermones sobre el fant\u00e1stico d\u00eda de ciclismo que vivimos, a nosotros de RAW nos gusta contar lo vivido, documentar con nuestras palabras una semana incre\u00edble; vivida con gente incre\u00edble, rodando junto con personajes que forman parte de la historia de esta disciplina, o simplemente al lado de viejos y nuevos amigos que han decidido acercarse a Barcelona para acudir a esta cita.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Critweek<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lo que en Instagram est\u00e1 catalogado como <strong>#critweek<\/strong>, ha sido una experiencia brutal. La ciudad condal ha sido invadida por un n\u00famero impresionante de corredores, fot\u00f3grafos, marcas, aficionados, curiosos, etc. y durante toda la semana ha sido un no parar de fiestas, en lo cual nunca faltaban cervezas, amigos, risas y bicicletas impresionantes que encontraron su apogeo en la <em>pre-party<\/em> del viernes organizada por los chicos de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dosnoventabikes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dosnoventa<\/a>. La comunidad que se mueve alrededor de este evento resulta cada vez m\u00e1s unida y con una identidad propia, gente de todo el mundo con una misma pasi\u00f3n, una tribu urbana donde los sue\u00f1os se convierten en proyectos reales, donde nacen enormes amistades y peque\u00f1as y sanas rivalidades. La semana que precede al RHC se caracteriza mucho por la insana carga de expectativas y adrenalina que genera este evento.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Raceday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Barcelona ofreci\u00f3 un d\u00eda alucinante. Todo estaba listo, los primeros equipos y corredores iban apareciendo por la zona reservada y pon\u00edan a punto sus \u201cmonturas\u201d. La espera se hac\u00eda un poco larga y las ansias por salir a rodar crec\u00edan por momentos. Era el d\u00eda, y la hora de la verdad cada vez estaba m\u00e1s cerca. Ya no importaba si hab\u00edas entrenado mucho o poco, si te sent\u00edas fuerte o si hab\u00edas acertado con la relaci\u00f3n escogida\u2026 la suerte estaba echada y tu mente solo pod\u00eda pensar en hacer una buena clasificaci\u00f3n y conseguir pasar el corte para entrar a la final.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Last Chance Race<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La novedad absoluta dentro del RHC Series. Una carrera que otorgaba la oportunidad de pasar a la final A a los clasificados entre las posiciones 86 y 150 (solo pasaban los diez mejores corredores). Una carrera o, tambi\u00e9n llamada final B, consecuencia natural de la evoluci\u00f3n del Red Hook Crit y el nivel competitivo que ha alcanzado en pocos a\u00f1os debido al gran n\u00famero de atletas y equipos que se han acercado a esta incre\u00edble modalidad.<\/p>\n<p>Last Chance Race est\u00e1 pensada para dar espacio a todos aquellos corredores que se quieren confrontar en un crit\u00e9rium de alt\u00edsimo nivel como lo es el RHC y tener ocasi\u00f3n de demostrar lo que valen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Womens Race<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Poco a poco y, despu\u00e9s de una ronda clasificatoria de infarto, el d\u00eda deja paso a la oscuridad&#8230; llega el momento del \u00a1Women\u2019s crit!<\/p>\n<p>Desde su inicio el RHC ha tenido siempre en cuenta a las chicas. En la <a title=\"RHC No.1\" href=\"http:\/\/redhookcrit.com\/history\/rhc-no1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">primera edici\u00f3n<\/a>, cuando a\u00fan no hab\u00eda patrocinadores ni categor\u00edas, y el Red Hook era una carrera semi-legal, gan\u00f3 <strong>Kacey Manderfield<\/strong>, una chica de New Jersey que dio la sorpresa y dej\u00f3 a muchos boquiabiertos. 2014 es el a\u00f1o y Barcelona la ciudad escogida. La categor\u00eda femenina ya es una realidad.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s del inolvidable show que se vivi\u00f3 en Brooklyn con la tormenta perfecta y la gran victoria de Jo Celso (que saludamos y esperamos ver en Mil\u00e1n totalmente recuperada), en Barcelona vivimos otro gran espect\u00e1culo desde bien pronto.<\/p>\n<p>Las primeras vueltas destacaron por el fuerte ritmo que marcaron las corredoras de la cabeza. Curva a curva las riders se iban midiendo las unas a las otras e intentando mantener una buena posici\u00f3n.<br \/>\nFueron varios los intentos de escapada por parte de la joven <strong>Ainara Arteaga (Reyno de Navarra)<\/strong> pero el resto de corredoras no se lo impidieron.<\/p>\n<p>Cada vez quedaban menos vueltas y, a cinco del final, <strong>Sandra Jord\u00e0<\/strong> del <strong>RAW Cycling Team<\/strong> decide atacar e intentar escaparse. Consigue encabezar las cinco vueltas restantes como l\u00edder del grupo y deja claro sus intenciones.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente y, despu\u00e9s de unas vueltas de miedo, todo se acaba decidiendo en las \u00faltimas curvas donde Ainara consigue cruzar la meta en primera posici\u00f3n, seguida de <strong>Fleur Faure (Polo&amp;Bike)<\/strong> y <strong>Vittoria Reati (Supernova Team)<\/strong> y en cuarto y quinto puesto D\u00e9bora Galvez\u00a0y Sandra Jord\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Destacar el buen trabajo de todas, la espectacular carrera que hizo Vittoria Reati de tan solo 18 a\u00f1os, y el brillante trabajo de Ainara, Sandra y D\u00e9bora que sin experiencia en el mundo del pi\u00f1\u00f3n fijo se atrevieron con una carrera de tal magnitud y lograron un muy buen resultado.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men\u2019s Crit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Casi sin tiempo para recuperarnos de la emocionante carrera que nos brindaron las f\u00e9minas, daba comienzo el Criterium masculino. La noche rodea el parque del f\u00f3rum y solo se respira tensi\u00f3n y nervios de los <em>riders<\/em> preparados en la l\u00ednea de salida.<\/p>\n<p>Arranca el Red Hook Crit Barcelona n.2, y los 4.000 espectadores que rodean el circuito acompa\u00f1an con un gritos de euforia al grupo. <strong>Mario Paz Duque<\/strong>, el Eddie Merckx de los \u201cprimes\u201d, tras una primera vuelta de miedo consigue cruzar primero la l\u00ednea de meta.<\/p>\n<p>Respeto al a\u00f1o pasado, d\u00f3nde el nivel de los corredores nos pareci\u00f3 muy alto, en esta edici\u00f3n, los corredores del primer grupo parec\u00edan de otro planeta.<\/p>\n<p>Por opini\u00f3n de los mismos <em>riders<\/em>, la presi\u00f3n y el la velocidad de las \u00faltimas pruebas del RHC llevan al l\u00edmite cada atleta, y cuando vas a este nivel, no hay espacio para errores. Un circuito como el de Barcelona, con una zona rapid\u00edsima en la que el viento era tu peor enemigo, y otra con un tramo de curvas muy t\u00e9cnicas donde los corredores ten\u00edan que poner los cinco sentidos alerta para no \u201cbesar\u201d el suelo.<\/p>\n<p>A medida que pasaban las vueltas, la carrera se convirti\u00f3 en un aut\u00e9ntico <strong>Puerto Rico Show<\/strong> en el que <strong>Eduardo Col\u00f3n<\/strong>, uno de los favoritos por su gran victoria en el <a title=\"FIJATE 2014, por David Rosado\" href=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/2754-fijate-2014-por-david-rosado\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fijate 2014<\/a>, realizaba una fuga que consigue incendiar al p\u00fablico llegando a tener una ventaja de once segundos respecto al primer grupo. Consigue mantener el ritmo durante unas vueltas hasta caer en una de las curvas de la zona t\u00e9cnica y es atrapado por el resto de corredores.<\/p>\n<p>El p\u00fablico, a\u00fan desconcertado por la p\u00e9rdida de posiciones de Eduardo, vuelve a enloquecer por otro puertorrique\u00f1o, esta vez era <strong>Julio Padilla (Impulse Stage Team)<\/strong> qui\u00e9n lanzaba un ataque y decid\u00eda no volver a casa con las manos vac\u00edas. La escapada fue brutal. Un pu\u00f1etazo en el est\u00f3mago del grupo perseguidor que no pudo hacer otra cosa que admirar al joven de Guatemala cruzando la meta con los brazos alzados y celebrando la victoria. \u201cNo me lo esperaba\u201d, fueron las palabras de Padilla al terminar la carrera. Una sorpresa para \u00e9l y para todos en general, aunque los chicos el d\u00eda de antes ya anunciaban que no pensaban volver a su pa\u00eds sin hacer podio. No se conformar\u00edan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Augusto Reati (Supernova Team)<\/strong> que luch\u00f3 hasta el final, logr\u00f3 un merecido segundo puesto, seguido por <strong>Thibaud Lhenry<\/strong> que consolida sus buenos resultados durante esta temporada, y demuestra que la victoria de Brooklyn no fue ninguna casualidad.<\/p>\n<p>Nos gustar\u00eda resaltar la inhumana carrera de <strong>Kyle Murphy (MASH SF)<\/strong> que, pese a una ca\u00edda, consigui\u00f3 levantarse, incorporarse y conseguir un fant\u00e1stico quinto puesto.<\/p>\n<p>El <a title=\"Team Cinelli Chrome\" href=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/3336-team-cinelli-chrome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Team Cinelli Chrome<\/a> y <a title=\"IRIDE Fixed Modena\" href=\"http:\/\/rawcyclingmag.com\/2208-iride-fixed-modena\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Iride Squadra Corse<\/a> son los l\u00edderes de la clasificaci\u00f3n por equipos. En Mil\u00e1n se acabar\u00e1 de decidir qui\u00e9n se lleva la Liga a casa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RHC Barcelona No.2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Las expectativas se han superado con creces. La alta asistencia de p\u00fablico, el gran n\u00famero de participantes, la prueba de <em>running<\/em>, el espect\u00e1culo de las chicas, la carrera de repesca y la traca final con el crit\u00e9rium masculino, remataron un fin de semana dif\u00edcil de superar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a1Estamos ansiosos de que llegue Mil\u00e1n y ver como acaba esto! <em>\u00a1Ci vediamo a Milano!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>V\u00eddeo oficial RHC Barcelona No.2<\/strong> por\u00a0RAW Cycling Mag y <a title=\"Bajo Tierra Films\"
