Si llegas a Brooklyn, a uno de los crit\u00e9rium m\u00e1s exigentes y competitivos del panorama, le sumas unas condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas de miedo y te presentas con una bici hecha de bamb\u00fa, cualquiera podr\u00eda pensar que tus probabilidades de ganar son m\u00e1s bien escasas pero, si te llamas <b>Thibaud<\/b>, tienes una bici que el resto subestima y encima te gusta rodar con lluvia, la cosa cambia mucho.<\/p>\n<p>Conozcamos un poco m\u00e1s al chico franc\u00e9s que conquist\u00f3, en una noche de tormenta, la ciudad de New York.<\/p>\n<p><b>1. \u00bfQui\u00e9n es Thibaud Lhenry? <\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Tengo 24 a\u00f1os, vengo de un peque\u00f1o pueblo de Borgo\u00f1a, cerca de las mejores vi\u00f1as del mundo&#8230; \u00a1pero muy lejos de una gran ciudad! En realidad, yo vivo en Dijon. Empec\u00e9 a ir en bici cuando ten\u00eda 5 a\u00f1os, con el fin de hacer siempre las cosas m\u00e1s divertidas: saltaba a los r\u00edos con mi bici, trat\u00e9 de subir a un \u00e1rbol con ella&#8230; Estoy exaltado, me encanta probar cosas nuevas y superarme a m\u00ed mismo. Mi especialidad es el ciclismo de monta\u00f1a, pero me gusta el ciclismo de carretera, ciclocr\u00f3s&#8230;y ahora, obviamente, \u00a0\u00a1tambi\u00e9n pi\u00f1\u00f3n fijo!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>2. \u00bfCu\u00e1ndo y c\u00f3mo empezaste a correr las Crits?! <\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Empec\u00e9 a correr criteriums en la carrera de Dijon Mustard Crit, en Julio de 2013. La hermana de mi novia trabaja en la organizaci\u00f3n y ella me pregunt\u00f3 si yo quer\u00eda probarlo&#8230; \u00a1Por supuesto! Mi novia me prohibi\u00f3 participar, era demasiado peligroso para ella. As\u00ed que quer\u00eda molestarla y lo prob\u00e9. Termin\u00e9 en segundo puesto, justo detr\u00e1s del italiano Alessandro Bruzza.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>3. IN&#8217;B\u00d4. \u00bfPuedes hablarnos sobre tu bicicleta de bamb\u00fa?<\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Es fuera de lo normal, y \u00a1me gusta! Odio hacer todo lo que hace todo el mundo&#8230; El cuadro esta hecho a mano con bamb\u00fa y fibras de lino&#8230; \u00a1es incre\u00edble!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>4. El due\u00f1o es amigo tuyo \u00bfno? \u00c9l ha hecho a mano la bici para ti.<\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Los propietarios se hicieron amigos&#8230; Es un grupo de cinco chicos j\u00f3venes que crearon su propia empresa de equipamiento deportivo hecho de madera (monopatines, gafas, bicicletas, etc.), cuando terminaron de estudiar. De hecho, yo no ten\u00eda ninguna <i>fixie<\/i> para la carrera Mustard de Dijon. Me reun\u00ed con ellos en una carrera de MTB, fueron presentando sus locuras de bicicletas de bamb\u00fa. Les pregunt\u00e9 si me podr\u00edan prestar una para la carrera, y aceptaron. Desde entonces me han hecho tres cuadros, cada vez mejores, sobre todo para m\u00ed. Estoy orgulloso de ellos y agradezco lo que hicieron por m\u00ed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>5. \u00bfDiferencias entre el aluminio y el cuadro de bamb\u00fa?<\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Una bicicleta de bamb\u00fa tiene las mismas capacidades de un uno de carbono, de manera equivalente a la de aluminio. Es r\u00edgida y absorbe muy bien las vibraciones. Es ligero (6,2 kilos), pero, tal vez, podamos hacer algunas mejoras y a\u00fan reducirlo m\u00e1s.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>6. RHC. Has ganado la carrera que llamamos &#8220;la tormenta perfecta&#8221;, \u00bfpuedes contarnos tus sensaciones durante la carrera?<\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Me encanta ir en bici cuando est\u00e1 lloviendo. Cuando eres un ciclista de monta\u00f1a, no te importa ir por el barro, el agua, el arrastre&#8230; As\u00ed que durante la carrera, me sent\u00eda bien, sin temores y un gran esp\u00edritu de lucha. He hecho un largo viaje para venir aqu\u00ed. Quer\u00eda pas\u00e1rmelo bien y, por qu\u00e9 no, hacer una exhibici\u00f3n. Cuando cruc\u00e9 la l\u00ednea, no me di cuenta: \u00ab\u00a1Dios m\u00edo, lo he hecho!\u00bb. Yo estaba muy muy muy feliz por mis amigos (los creadores de mi bici) que vinieron conmigo a Nueva York, por mi familia, que vivieron la carrera detr\u00e1s de sus pantallas, en medio de la noche y desde Francia.<\/p>\n<p>Mi fin de semana en Nueva York fue realmente incre\u00edble, pero demasiado corto, con el <i>jetlag<\/i>&#8230; En mi oficio, soy constructor de techos de zinc en Francia, y s\u00f3lo ten\u00eda 5 d\u00edas libres. As\u00ed que tuve que volver a Francia r\u00e1pidamente. El a\u00f1o que viene, voy a pasar m\u00e1s tiempo en Nueva York o al menos eso espero.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>7. Tambi\u00e9n eres corredor en MTB \u00bfHay alguna habilidad de MTB que sea beneficiosa para correr criteriums? <\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>En los criteriums me siento c\u00f3modo cuando inclino mi bici en las curvas y las sensaciones que percibo me gustan mucho.<b><\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>8. \u00bfC\u00f3mo te sueles entrenar?<\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Mis prioridades son la bicicleta de monta\u00f1a y <i>fixie<\/i>. Tambi\u00e9n completo mi entrenamiento con carreras de ciclismo en ruta. Pero cuando se acerca una prueba, entreno duro con la bici de pi\u00f1\u00f3n.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>9. \u00bfC\u00f3mo es Thibaud fuera del mundo de la bicicleta?<\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Excepto para rodar con la bici e ir a trabajar, no tengo mucho tiempo m\u00e1s para otras. Cada fin de semana, estoy de competici\u00f3n, por lo que es dif\u00edcil tener hobbies. Cuando puedo, me encanta escalar, salir con mis amigos y disfrutar con mi novia.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>10. \u00bfQu\u00e9 consejos dar\u00edas a la gente que quiere empezar a correr crit\u00e9riums como el RHC?<\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>No dudes, desconecta el cerebro, no tengas miedo, compra bamb\u00fa y, sobre todo, \u00a1p\u00e1salo de miedo!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>11.\u00a0<b>Una peque\u00f1a frase que exprese vuestra pasi\u00f3n por el ciclismo\u2026<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Lo que no me mata me hace m\u00e1s fuerte.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>10.\u00a0<b>Gracias a\u2026<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>El equipo In&#8217;B\u00f4, EasyRiser, Corima, Sportunit, la Bambouseraie d&#8217;Anduse que conf\u00edan en m\u00ed.
